I don't men halloween or special occasions, I am interested in collecting minature villages, but for the past year, I basically see only christmas ones, (and well before the christmas season.). I've seen only a couple, does any one know of any shops, (in Washington and Oregon) that might sell, or any online shops?

Fruitcake is the "Rodney Dangerfield" of Christmas traditions-- it gets no respect. But there are some good tasting fruitcakes out there as long as you like flour, butter, sugar and candied fruits. You can provide the brand name if you wish. If you don't like fruitcake, well, it's up to you and that just means more fruitcake for the rest of us.

I just started seeing this guy, that I'm almost in love with, and we both wish knew eachother better before Christmas like we do now. My son got married in 2005. Until then he was always with us on Christmas in CA. In 2004 he got engaged at Christmas and asked that we would come there. We did.Sometime after that he told us he would have to alternate Christmas with us. We totally understood. LY we went the week before to see him and his wife. This year thinking it was our turn we made plans to spend Christmas in Boston (3000 miles away from our home). When we got here we were told they couldn't spend Christmas with us as she had a bigger family. Yesterday he told me, we can no longer alternate Christmas that he said that several years ago and I shouldn't expect him to stick to it.
