Fruitcake is the "Rodney Dangerfield" of Christmas traditions-- it gets no respect. But there are some good tasting fruitcakes out there as long as you like flour, butter, sugar and candied fruits. You can provide the brand name if you wish. If you don't like fruitcake, well, it's up to you and that just means more fruitcake for the rest of us.

My mom used to make fruit cake using an applesauce cake base,then she added the fruit and nuts,but not too much.My husband loved it.Although I'm not a fruitcake fan,this one was pretty good.You need a cake that's not going to be dry.

I Do Not Like Fruitcake! My Grandmother gives all the relatives Fruitcakes during Christmas and my Dad is the only one who eats it!

Fruitcake is good. Only if you make it right though, I can't stand dry Fruitcakes!

i like Christmas fruitcake with butter on it. I save a field interior the cabinet all year around. in case you like cherries, raisins, nuts, and cake...attempt it. quarter-hour later: in basic terms had a slice, delicious...thank you!

Well, I like alot but hey thanks I have no MEMORY OF WHAT I ATE. Sorry. But don't pick too dry ones, and I like them with jam also. And don't take the kidn with Angel Cake bread too much because to me aftere a while my mouth feels weird. i like juicy types.
