I would certainly not worry about it my wife and I always do so just after New Years. It iks a time that we are together and able to do so. It is wonderful to be able to do this together and I don't think that the neighbors mind very much. Christ was NoT BoRn then anyway and this is a man-made holiday. The only Christian Holiday that we celebrate as Christians is the Lord's Day as we are told to partake of the LORD's SUPPER and to give as we have been prospered. GOD has told us in the New Testament that those are to be done. HE is more important than any man-made custom anyway. Have a great weekend and share the GOOD NEWS with your neighbors as you are able!

The twelve days of Christmas is after. It's a little vague but it either has to do with the last day that one of the wise men arrived bearing gifts or the days after the winter solstice. Anyway with my kids we always celebrated the twelve days before. Each day they would get to open a small gift. This helped avoid the anxiety of anticipation and helped with the childhood greed issues!
