It takes longer putting them up. Why? nicely on account which you're taking a while putting every person decoration and making optimistic ht tinsel is intense high quality and does not conflict with something. once you're taking stuff down, you're extremely only grabbing each thing and putting them away, no thinking in touch. happy New 3 hundred and sixty 5 days!

The 12th night is the 6th of Jan when its tradition to take down decorations then. Superstition is a load of old cobblers.

I took my decorations down on the 7th of January as i was taking my younger son into town on the 6th.

Twelfth night is 6th Jan, and the decorations are supposed to come down on or before then. Mine came down on 6th, then this morning I saw one in the kitchen that I'd forgotten. Too early to say if it's bad luck - but I don't think so.
Next door have still got their annoying outside lights up (they light up my bedroom so I can't sleep). I've put up with it since mid-December but It's going to be bad luck for them if they don't come down soon...

I've taken down the exterior decorations this weekend, I'll probably get to work on the interior ones next weekend.

Mine are still up, will come down this week or next. They are sufficiently lovely and uplifting I want to enjoy them as long as I have an excuse.

Usually I bring the deccies down on 1st Jan but since I was still slightly inebriated, I brought them down on the 2nd Jan!
