I have 3 grown children....two girls and a boy. One girl and the boy have families with young children. One girl is getting married in February.

I don't have much money to spend on Christmas gifts this year, and would like some ideas on what I can do for my family.

Any gift suggestions for my children, children-in-law, and grandchildren are welcome.

I am pretty crafty, so making nice things is not out of the question.

A Max and Ruby (cartoon on Noggin) scooter. After searching high and low I have discovered there is no such thing. I have purchased a solid pink scooter and need ideas on how to place Max and Ruby pictures (printed from the computer) onto the scooter so it looks real. I'm desperate. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!

I dislike the new 'twist' on the Father Christmas' theme as in the new advert he is a younger man, no beard (as such) but has his hair etc high lighted grey. I know it's advertising 'Designer Christmas' but I think this has gone too far.

Anyone know of a good place to buy a real tree? I'm in Southeastern Michigan and can't find a decent place to cut down my own. I don't like those little places that sell precut trees but I don't want to spend $75 for a friggin tree. Ughhhhh

My older kids are getting harder to buy for. I am sure I wil do just fine in picking out their presents, but thought I could get a few new ideas by asking. The boys are 11, and the girls are 9 and 7. My girls have outgrown barbies, and dolls and are really into big girl things...CD's etc...trying to think of some creative ideas. And, what for 11 year old boys?? Any good game ideas? THANKS!
