Candies, cookies, placed in a beautiful re-usable tin or box. Wrapped in a beautiful bow. Also take favorite pictures and place in a frame from a craft store that allows you to put together.

My favorite homemade gift to give and receive is cookies. Bake the warmest, most delicious cookies you can and wrap them to look oh so pretty and you have a perfect gift straight from your kitchen and your heart. You can also make bookmarks, Christmas ornaments, a homemade Christmas card with family photos or personal photos inside, depending on who is getting this gift. But personally, I would go for the cookies, especially if you know their favorite kind.

I made several calendars with photos taken throughout the year on them. My husband made some planters out of wood. I've also done some crafts, I'm making a rug right now. And my aunt does counted cross stitch. My other aunt has painted figurines for people.

That could depend on your age and the relationship of the recipient...my favorite gift was a homemade felt banner that has my grandchildren's palm prints on it....I also enjoy homemade banana bread, cookies, lemon-poppyseed bread, wheat bread, heat and serve casseroles, pictures in picture frames, drawings from my grandkids, handmade "coupons" good for a chore to be done or a shoulder rub or just a hug from them!

They're tricky to make if you don't know how, but they serve several purposes. It's called a quillow, it's a quilt that converts into a pillow or vice-versa, you can use it to cover up when you need a blanket, or when you don't you've got a pillow. last function is when it's pulled out to the blanket there's a pocket that you can put your feet in if they're cold.

We made chocolates--dipped all kinds of goodies (pretzles, potato chips, oreos, nutterbutters) and sugared nuts. I gave them on pretty Christmas dishes to co workers, hairdresser, neighbors, and BF family. Everyone we gave them to has asked for repeats! That was the biggest hit!!! We obviously have candy making planned again this year!

If you are grifted in being able to do stuff with your hands and it is an indoor craft you can (if you are talented in this way) crotchet or knit them an afghan in a Christmas theme (being red, white and green) or in their fave color(s). They will always treasure it.
