This year, my husband and I went through several charities and organizations to buy gifts...might I suggest a pin from Autism Speaks (ten bucks) or something that supports Breast Cancer Awareness (through Avon...100 percent of the profits go to the charity, and you can buy lapel pins for about 3.50 each)....there are a TON of people who need our help, and you can get something to put under the tree in return. We searched for charities that fit the person, and spent about 10-20 dollar each. This way, even if the person doesn't like the gift, at least you know the money went to a good cause. Oh...and for children, the Make a Wish foundation makes stuffed animals as well as Charity Bears....they cover just about anything....good luck and Merry Christmas

I think you should buy a cool scrapbook for your family and some stationary to go with it too. What is better than sharing the memories with your family? You can be creative and decorate it also. If your daughter goes on a trip to Florida, for example, she can take a few pics and bring them. Then, you guys can decorate it together. How about that?

I'm in the same boat, except reverse. I have two sets of in-laws and my parents, plus three sets of grandparents. Here are some unique ideas (I think):
~ I'm making a scrapbook for each set of parents. I bought some 8x8 albums on clearance at Michael's. You can also check the clearance section at www.paper-source.com.
~ For my husband's grandmother, I bought custom stamps at stamps.com, downloading a picture of my son. She likes to write. I'll probably get her the free address stamp at www.vistaprint.com to go with it. There is a shipping fee for this and extra costs to upgrade. I forego this and just get me free stamp plus shipping!
~If you have video clips, you might consider making a flip book at www.flipbooks.com
~You could buy stockings for your kids' families at the store and personalize them on your own.
~Buy family games. Fry's Marketplace has them 25% off, and Target has killer deals on family games closer to Christmas. I just picked up Candyland and Chutes a Ladders for 5 bucks each. They also had a Leap Frog card game for 3 bucks.
~Shop clearance at stores like lillianvernon.com, target.com, redenvelope.com, oldnavy.com... I find they have the best deals! I buy clearance at Red Envelope and then pay the extra cost to have the gift wrapped in their fancy box. No one knows I paid under $10! I alway search for a 10% off coupon code online for Target.
~A pair of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf or Starbuck's travel mugs each with a $5 giftcard in them.
~Call your credit card company and see if they offer reward points for purchases. I get 5 points per dollar at Chase for groceries and gas, so I use the card just for that and pay it off each month. After 3,000 points you get a $25 giftcard, or a $50 one after 5,000 points. I get a $50 giftcard every month that I use for Christmas and birthday gifts.
Hope this helps!

I looked around and found some links, (We are going to several Holiday parties and have some smaller gifts to give to my mother's visiting nurses and home health aides), for cute small gift baskets and cheap gifts.

Buy some inexpensive baskets from Michaels, or a craft store, fill them with fruit, nuts and candy.
