Gifts cards are so easy, but it takes the fun out of trying to pick that perfect gift. But also that part can be stressful. So, depending on age, if under 25, then try a Now That's What I Call Music! cd. It usually has a variety of music from pop, rap, country, and rock. Perfect for a girl or guy. Since it's Christmas, why not the Now Christmas cds. Journals, planners, cd wallets, and cell phone cases can be unisex also. They have universal remotes and remote control holders for $10 at Kmart. Then there's DVDs, unisex scarves and mittens, and personal cd players. If you want to go really cheap, find a Dollar Tree, and get a coffee mug filled with candy. Be creative, and if you are still in doubt, then get the gift card.

Do you have a guy or gal?

Gals: Gifts from Bath and Body works (nice shower gels, lotions, etc.) Some come in gift baskets
A basket with assorted teas and coffees. A little chocolate wouldn't hurt either

Guys: Gift cards to gadget stores like Best Buy or Circuit City

Either: Guys or Gals: Gift cards to places like Borders, Barnes and Noble, restaurants.

The way we do secret santa is that we know who the person is, but they don't know who has given the gift. It is done by drawing the name out of a hat. As for ideas a $20 gift voucher if you don't know if it is guy or gal.

a VISA giftcard (check with banks or online for availability in your area) they are good anywhere and who doesn't love using a credit card that you don't have to pay back?! You also might look at her hands. Are they manicured? If so, ask her friends where she has them done and get her a gift certificate for that. A pedicure is also very nice. Several ladies where I work normally do that. Or try a gift certificate to Bath and Body Works, attached to a small sample of fragrant lotion she can keep in her desk or purse. (They have a lot of sales this time of year) That will make it personal and still give her the freedom to get what she wants.

If you don't know if the gift will be given to a guy or gal then I suggest a gift card to a popular store in your area. You can't go wrong with a gift card ... it can be for any gender and whoever gets it will have a chance to get what they want without having to return something that they may get otherwise if they don't like it. So, if you want to keep it simple and non-stressful, I would get a gift card to a store and leave it at that. :)

At Walmart or Walgreens, you can buy a flashlight for about $18 that is perfect for emergencies....it requires no batteries, you wind it up to power. It has a radio, a siren, a compass, and the light will flash on and off for a signal. It is perfect to keep in the car for winter emergencies or on a bedside table in the event of a sudden power outage. We have several and this past summer we had mass power outages that lasted several days and these came in very handy....you never have batteries when you need them most!!

A grab bag gift or secret Santa gift? Secret Santa, you usually know who you are giving it to, the receiving person usually doesn't know.

Many dept stores have gift sets that are at set prices. Or there's always the gift card route.

Lottery tickets, a cd or dvd, a game, a box of candy from a great chocolate shop, a nice throw for the couch, wine glasses, pizza pan and cutter, cook book or grilling book, a kit to do a family tree, calander, photo frames, bbq tool set, put together a car care kit. Have fun, happy holidays!

A DVD or CD might be a good choice. . . or a gift certificate to a store selling them. There are quite a few that have mass appeal, but without knowing who you are buying for a gift certificate is a safe bet.

You can't go wrong with gift cards!! Don't matter to where. Everybody can find something they like. Perfect example, Victoria's Secret sells men's pajamas and cologne.
