Holidays - October 2007

There's a lady I work with who always bakes something for the office about once a week. I have a nut allergy so I have to be careful with what I eat. Since she found out about my allergy, all her of baking has been nut free so I could enjoy it along with everyone else.

I want to get her a little something to say thank you for being so considerate and taking my allergy seriously. Any ideas?

I would like it if that costume idea was not too sexy but also if it was not to stupid. (please don't mention any "puns" like the Smartie Pants outfit-pants with Smartie wrappers pasted on them!) Anyways, please make sure the outfit is creative, maybe a movie character, video game character and everything like that alright? For me, it was like opening a bag of vegetables. What use are clothes to a child on Christmas morning? Thankfully, my parents realised their mistake with me, so that my younger brothers didn't have to face matching hat and gloves, socks and underwear beneath the Christmas tree.

I have just brought a pumpkin for halloween (not to eat to just make into a face) but halloween isn't for nearly 2 weeks so was wondering where is the best place to store it to keep it fresh, its to big for the fridge so should I put it in a dark cupboard or doesn't it matter, do they stay fresh for quite some time? unfortunatly I have a couple of friends who live on a council estate (dont ask why)
