I would just ask her stuff in class things like.."what does that say? or can i see her notes....so I asked her so when r u taking ur test(were ina jc college right now)...she was like smiling on monday...soo ur going to ut? (she had a binder witha ut cover on it, that looks like she put in)...she was like yeah smiling..i said im gonna apply there she was like really.ill know in 2 months...i was like cool..( I was standing up and she was sitting down and this was the end of class)so i guess she thought iw as leaving and she said bye..so i said see ya..(she had to get her stuff in the bag)...next time i c her...what if i mention something like so u got a hot date for valentines day?..(casually) if she says no..I can be ur valentine( remember im saying this CASUALLY..in a jokingly way dont know her that much...so i dont want her to be shocked ..but the thing is...she seems to put alot of attention on me ...but idk...I can high five her (in a joking way...im just saying it casually)..

I was told it was not a question, yet several people "answered" the question. Why did they know what the question was if I didn't ask them? What I asked was if it was all true regarding the pagan origins of Valentine's Day. I said I knew that it had pagan origins, but were all those things true? People answered it with several good answers. On the way to work I considered and had decided which answer was the best one. Yet, it said I had to wait 4 hours to make that choice.

I won't post the report again as people get all in a dither when they see things that might desecrate their sacred cow. Valentines Day.

Is it too much to expect a card, and only just a card, from my fiance' on Valentine's Day? I didn't ask for jewerly, chocolates, flowers or even a teddy bear. But I am hoping for a card. We live in different states and I sent him one. I also sent him an electronic V-Day card. But he's so cheap, I don't know if he sent one or not. Of course I can't ask him if he did. Will this be a sign of things to come? It's the only thing I would like, just a simple, little card. But I'm wondering if thats too much to ask. Or do I have a right to expect it?

Irish-American. I'm happy to be Irish but I'm a complete abstainer. Why can't I find any leprechauns in the stores that don't look drunk? There is a lot more to being Irish than booze-hounding around! There's lots of wonderful values that come out of Celtic culture. How can I reflect this?
