I was in Peace Studies and I was presenting my project on Colorism(racism against skin tones) and this white girl was telling me if black people have this problem with skin color they need to get over it. I'm so sick off so many white people saying that! White people don;t understnad what some non-white people go through living in a all white country. I've been called blackie and burnt choclate by my own people, how can I get over it? And my great-grandmother used to tell me "don't stay in the sun too long or you'll get dark" I can't ust get over it. White people never had to deal with changing their hair texture to fit in. I went to a ob interview for Starbucks and the manager said that my hair isn't apporapiate because it was in braids.

My boyfriend and I were talking and I was cooking some fried chicken, catfish, and shrimp gumbo. My boyfriend keep on trying to make-otu with me while I was cooking. Lately, he has been very horny. I am 5% Native American and 95% European. I feel that a great wrong has taken place in our history that has stained the america today. The way the Europeans took over this land was genocide. They almost wiped out and indiginous people that took care of nature and was one with nature and did not waste. This land stayed pristine and the water was pure for thousands of years while they lived here. Now we can find trash dumps that look like mountains. And certain species of animals wiped out to extinction. And today all they get is a little piece of land to continue there culture and tradition. I think we should honor the American Indians more now than ever because they are still here and they are part of the human race which is our brothers. They walked probably where you stand in the contenential U.S. We should honor them with a holiday or give them larger lands. Maybe you can think of something I dont know.

Just wondering if this is anything to worry about?

I just turned 20 and have recently noticed a decrease in involuntary erections and sexual thoughts. I'm in a long distance relationship and everythign was fine when we were together. Its just that the thought of sex would give me a strong, lasting erection until recently whereas now its tough to mantain. I'm just wondering what the normal reaction is for guys my age, if they can get it up simply through thought or if they have to masturbate or have the involvement of a partner. Im just wodnering if I should anticipate any performance problems next time I see her and if so what should I do...

Seeking info from anyone who can offer info on living in Turkey, my husband hasnt lived there in about 10 years so its a realistic and scary thought for us all but inevitable to keep our family together after 10 years of marriage keeping our family together is the most important but very difficult especially when dealing with other family members and there concerns and thoughts and ours as well.
knowing what has to be done can be very difficult and doing it is even more.
note: Me and the children have also never ventured outside the USA so you can only imagine.

ever since junior high, I love to dress up and look nice. One time I was walking through a hallway and I saw this boy talking to this girl beside him. Both of them didnt know me and I didnt know them. Anyways, I was walking by and heard the guy say to the girl, "she's trying to look all great." and I heard the girl say, "I know." I also would like to know why do I always have these experiences by black people even though I'm half black and half asian? When I walk by a group of white people, they smile and say, "cool outfit."

Some people talk as if all poorer people are dirty and slummish
(if I may) and not caring. I see the same things in poor neighborhoods as in working-class ones, (i.e. mothers walking kids to school, kids riding bikes, walking dogs, sweeping pavements, cutting grass, rushing to work, and whatever other people do). There is a lot of crime in these neighborhoods which means there are a lot of victims in these neighborhoods.
