People who are overweight.
They are discriminated against in a wide variety of situations, including on the job, but they are the only group not protected by laws forbidding their persecution.

Christians.
Christians are persecuted in China. Their freedom of religion, but not that of the traditional Chinese religions, is curtailed.
They are persecuted in the Sudan. Brutally, physically tortured.
They are persecuted in Saudia Arabia and in Iran. Again, they are not allowed to openly practice their faith, and additionally taxes are imposed on them merely for being Christians.
They are persecuted in India. There is a common saying in India, "India is for Hindus." So you go to the bank to get a loan, you must be a Hindu. You try to get a government permit, you must be Hindu. The Indian constitution promises freedom of religion, but by the time you work your way through the Indian courts, it is too late. In the rural Indian areas, people who convert to Christianity from Hinduism are outcast, and physically persecuted. Tortured, beaten, burned.
