we ahve the belgian for the jokes, but i really like them, they have a great sense of humour
french people in general find the americans arrogant because og their foreign policy
i find it difficult to think of americans as a single community. i'm from the south of france and live in paris, people here are very different from my town, so i can imagine in a huge country as yours!!!!
i don't really know american people, i went to the west cost when i was 15.
i studied english at universitu and really liked my american teatchers.
what i really like in america is your litterature. you have great writers... as far as cinema is concerned... i don't always appreciate your big productions

I am an american but i lived in Paris for 3 years when i was in high school cause my fathers job took him there. I liked most of the french people i came across. However, There is a big difference between the average french person and a parisian.
I would say that most americans who dislike french people are generalizing all french people as the type of people you come across in Paris. Its like generalizing all americans cause you went to New York once when in fact most americans arent like New Yorkers.

Oh Oh Touchy question. I love the French OUTSIDE of Paris. Love the small villages like Honfleur and then South but then again I am from Belgium and the French do not love us too much (I think).

I was in Paris a couple of years ago and it was a totally delightful experience. Everyone was polite and charming. We did not meet a single rude person. I would go back in a minute.

I guess there nice I dont know if they really are a little arrogant or not but they seem nice, I'm learning french and im part canadian and canadians came from france right? so i guess i might be part french.

I think that French people are cool, and that French guys and girls look hot. I like the language too.

It seems all they do is smoke! No offense. However I also find the French to be very classy and sophisticated.

I think, they're OK - I guess. But they need to bathe more often and they should use less perfume.
