my friends are going to the city. they asked to come,just to hang out, walk around + maybe shopping. the thing is, i'd like to go but one thing that irritates me is when they're shopping it seems like they like show their stuff to other friends, how much money do u have?who's the best dressed? who's got the coolest stuff?

not everyone are well off. but u know..peer pressure and social influence and stuff like that.. they act like rich girls when they're not. they're good friends, but sometimes i don't feel comfortable when they act like that. bunch of materialistics! maybe it's just today's culture?

i'm not sure if i should go with them. if im going, i would probably just sit around, or make the group looks much bigger...wohh im confused..i've been spending most of my time indoors becoz of my studies..i mean really, what else can i do in the city apart from being girlish + shopping + giggling like little bitches (which is really not my thing) around the city?

I only know that I am a Hawk, I would like to know more, like does it matter when, where I was born, or what moon it was or anything like that? I don't know much about Native American horoscope stuff, but I'd like to learn alittle bit. Especially Aztec and Cherokee horoscope stuff.

I find myself somewhat surprised by the amount of hatred being expressed on Yahoo Answers and its difficult to suprise me. I would not have thought it possible to find so many things about so many people that we all despise. As members of rhe online community of Yahoo Answers what should we do to make a breakthrough in the way people perceive and accept each others diversity (a catchall description of color, politics, religion, etc.) and enrich our lives, move us a step closer to world peace ?What do YOU think? The following is not for all americans.....

You know that white act bad with black they call them bad words they say they filty&discusting, my last question was rude alright but it was the truth! if you'll cant face the truth! then the racism goes on,

and you'll know blacks sell drugs (not all) they shooting people almost everyday, so sad (not all).

It is highly recommend that you dont write back!

I have the key americans, i heard that america is in bad shape i heard if this racism continues they will crack down.

1:(whites)communicate with black people be their friends act nice to them, dont over do it. some white people might think black people are filty and discusting, and thats rude.

2.(blacks) go to school, dont sell drugs, dont advertise bad influence, get educated, dont be rude, dont beat up white people.

In france there is no racism, theres good food, nice weather(sometimes), good traffic, beautiful skylines, and of course not alot of population, just average population, nice comfortable houses! of course there is. thats all i got for now, wait! of course we play soccer alot there, this year were very disappointed by france not winnin a single match so far. now i been to usa its ok there just too many population, anyone who lives in usa for many years that want to tell me about their country?

I heard rumors about racism in the usa, is this country going to crack down or something. i heard theres a war between white and black people. im glad im not white or black, they saying black are not educated whites are calling them bad words, im glad im not in this country.

I want to know because last time I was in England a person shouted rude things at me and told be to go back to where I came from. I though this was weird cos I didn't know the english had a problem with us! (I guess I was wrong)

The reason that I asked this question is b/c I hate when people at my school be like, "Oh, look at that Mexican!" when they dont even know whether or not he/she is Mexican. Then I say, "How do you know that he/she is Mexican or not?" Then they go, "Well, it aint no difference!!!!" Then Im like, "Yes it is. If you are Mexican, you're not Puerto Rican, (OR) If you are Latino, you are not Puerto Rican!" B/c there IS a difference, right? Well, I know that there's a difference, but WHAT is the difference?
