Adam and Lilith
To sum it up here's what happened:
Lilith came before Eve and was in theory Adams equal. She wanted to be on top when they had sex, but Adam did not like that. So Adam talked to God to tell Lilith to let Adam dominate her. Lilith refused and ran away/got kicked out depending on the variation in the legend.
She's supposedly the mother of all demons as that she copulated with Adam once and then denied her the presence of her children in the eyes of God. The all knowing God cursed her and her children and turned them into evil things that go bump in the night.
I love a good story regardless whether or not most people label it fact or fiction. But given the world's current battle of sexes, it makes sense that it started with the original man and woman.

Nobody can do that. There was no written history to record them at that time. Religious people will say Adam and Eve, though.

Interstingly enough, the Bible just uses the gender name. "Man and Woman". AND, Hebrew didn't have any pural/singular forms... So... literally, you have 'man and woman' and/or 'men and women'. Puts a new spin on things, no?

Isn't that according to the various creation myth one buys into through their own religion? None of it matters as they are all myths, stories to explain how things happened, even if they didnt really happen that way. It gives each person something to hold onto.
