I respect gay people because they are being who they really are. Why does everybody have something against them?

Tonight I read a posting from someone who had received violations about saying how he felt about homosexuality. Is it wrong to voice and opinion, or should we keep quiet about how we feel. Or should we find another medium with which to say what we feel.

I HAVE MY OWN VIEWS AND DO NOT WANT TO BE DRAWN INTO A DEPATE ABOUT A PERSONS SEXUALITY. I'M TRYING TO ASCERTAIN WHETHER WE HAVE THE RIGHT ON HERE TO VOICE OUR VIEWS WITHOUT FEAR OF GETTING A VIOLATION FOR DOING SO.

So please no derogatory remarks aimed at me please. Thank you.

What do you think?

Why can't there just be a clear difference between Heterosexuals and Homosexuals. It's not like I see a bunch of us saying you can't be 100% homosexual your attracted to the opposite sex just like we are. Sounds propagandish to me.

I'm 100% straight, if your 100% gay cool more power to ya. I'm not going to try and label you to make it seem like....... you are similar to me becasue your not. No biggey differences is what makes this country intresting.

Okay. So there's this girl that works at the door of the dining hall on campus (not a lunch lady, she just works the register). Monday, I came in for breakfast and when I walked in, she gave me this beautiful smile, or course I smiled back. She told me that she was in her Anthropology class. "You probably never seen me, but I see you all the time." She said, still with that smile. On my way out, I saw her again, she told me to have a nice day. I made sure to be on time to class so I could see her come in. When she did, she smiled and waved at me (like with just her fingers, it was cute). She sat behind me, and I had to fight looking up at her. The next day, I made sure to go to breakfast. She was there, and so was that smile. Just as before, she smiled and told me to have a nice day. I missed class that day, so I can't tell you how she acted there. Tomorrow, when I go to breakfast (because I will definitely go to breakfast), what can I do to make sure she knows I'm interested?

Without using biblical quotes or parroting right-wing propaganda, I would like to understand why you think homosexuality is wrong.

if you think you might be gay, what should you do? i'm not sure but don't know how to tell, however if i think i might be gay should i talk to someone, if so who, because i would want to talk to someone completely anonymous. also how do you meet other gay girls who you might get on with. but my other problem is how do i come to terms with it if i am gay because i don't think i want to be, but also want to be ahppy, cos am quite down at the moment, and i think would cheer me up to be with someone
advice appreciated thanks

I am doing a study on violence/abuse in lesbian relationships v.s. hetero relationships. I know the male/female won't be difficult to find statistics but does anyone know of any resources that may report stats on voilence in lesbian relationships?

I'm curious as this seems to be some form of 'victimsation' or 'harrassment' where people pretend to be other people. Why?

It's all I ever wanted to be, really... more than any career. When I meet the right woman I want to have a family with her. I want to be the one who stays home with the kids and raises and nurtures them.
I told this to one of my friends, and she was like "that's crazy! You come first. Women are just as capable as men in the workplace."

But she's missing the point. I never said they aren't--as a woman, of course I agree that we're just as capable of men! But being a mom appeals to me more than a high-powered career.

And yes, I am a lesbian, and anyone who thinks lesbians shouldn't have and raise kids can **** off!

It seems like a lot of women look down on women who are stay at home mothers, and I don't understand. A couple of my lesbian friends look their noses down at the idea of being a mom. I'm sure it's the most rewarding, satisfying thing you can do in your life, and I'm gonna do it!

I met this girl and we hit it off really well, Then she invited me over for dinner. TOO spicy...I couldn't finish it. Then she asked me if I'd liked it and I said yeah just too hot.
Then she was getting ready to go out, she was on the phone the whole time and putting her make up on.
We went out and she was ignoring me the whole night, not sitting with me, hardly talking to me...then when the night came to an end, we drove back to her place and I asked her what was going on and why was she acting that way. She said...you're not gay...you're not completely out. I told her I was bisexual and she got upset...every time our friends invited us out, she always avoided me. People always told us we were hot toghether, yet I just didn't understand why she wasn't really feeling me....what did I do wrong....? Then she just avoided my phone calls and never called me at all...I don't get it....Ladies....
