Do males of a certain race have a higher percentage of non-circumcision?

Question

Which race has the highest percentage of males that do not get circumsized? And why?

Why don't many european males have to get circumsized like many males in the U.S.?

I really can't answer as to a specific race having a higher percentage of non circumsized men, however, you will find that many people of a Jewish faith are, as it is part of their religion. The practice isn't forced upon Protestant (or any other religion) believers, but doctors have been torn over whether it is a necessary practice or not. Beyond religion, some Dr's will argue that it is matter of cleanliness and overall better general health.

You can follow trends and see that throughout time, the number of males having the procedure decreases and increases over time just like any other trend.

In (Anglo-Celtic) Australia, only 27% of males born since 1970 get circumsized.

In the UK it’s very rare that a guy is circumcised. A lot of people (like myself) see this as child abuse. You take a boy and do that to him when he doesn’t have any choice in the matter. I would rather have been sexually abused as a kid than been circumcised. I have nothing against adults who want to do that to their own body, but not doing it to an innocent child.

Circumcision should be a criminal offense, and any parent who would do such a thing to a child should be castrated and locked up.
