Children are not emotionally ready to accept the consequences of sex. Do you think a twelve year old knows how to be a mother? There is also a power issue. A child can be coerced into sex... Adults have informed consent.

Are you serious? I understand you probably aren't a huge fan of homosexuality, which is fine by me. But really, if you're trying to make some awe inspiring statement you have missed the mark by a few dozen miles. "Gay sex," as you so eloquently phrased it, between two consenting adults is no different than "straight sex" between two consenting adults. On the other hand, children are not capable of making the decision to have sex as they don't understand what it really is and aren't really physically ready. When an adult makes the decision for the child it is called molestation or rape because, once again, a child isn't capable of making this decision. There is no way you don't know this. You are trying to be profound (you're so not profound by the way) and compare something between two people who care about one another (or at the very least are interested in one another) to something sick and vile. Use your brain and people will take you more seriously. I can't believe I wasted so much time answering this question yet again.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Two consenting adults have the right by Nature to have sex if they wish to. A child, however, is not mentally, emotionally or physically mature for sex - that is why they are called children, they are not mature. A child is in the developmental stage, progressing to the point of making informed decisions on their own.

Children cannot consent to sex, no matter how hard adults try to convince themselves that they can. A child does not have the emotional maturity to deal with the potential conequences of sex, STD's, Pregnancy, conflicting emotional attachments. Gay sex is consentual, between adults... these things are very, very different.

the main reason is that there is no such thing as consensual sex between adults and children
how can you tolerate something that doesnt exist?
besides the fact that gay sex doesnt ruin a persons life forever and make them go into therapy and hate sex as an adult and ruin thier chances at a normal partnership...
