Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - August 2006

I once visitted a Pentacostal Church pastored by two partnered men. I listened to the sermon, sang songs with them, and danced up and down the aisles with them. Afterword, I stayed and socialized, come out confident a fist wouldn't be landing in my face. The pastor took me aside and asked, "Do you think homosexuality and the Bble are compatible?" I told him no for there are verse in both Old and New testements condemning sexual acts between genders. He told me something for which I have no knowledge: All those references believed to condemn homosexuality actually condemn temple prostitution, not loving relationships.

How true is this? What is the common theology of Christians gays, lesbians, bisexuals and trans-folk?

Do any of you know WHEN to report abuse?
Snitching is not wrong if you save someone from harm.
Twice today, some juveniles (13 & 15yo girls) posted here.
They may be the sherriff or cops but report them. Inapproate behavior by children must be reported.

i have answered a few questions in the gay category and my question is this. why is it that christians won't accept the fact that someone is gay? i mean isn't christianity about bringing people to know and love God? u don't have to like the fact that someone is gay but acceptance is part of being a good Christian. loving everyone just as God loves u. although u are a Christian doesn't mean u are not a sinner. that is why u are a Christian because God died on the cross to save your soul so why are u putting people down just because u don't agree with who they are? maybe u should try to understand them instead. God loves everyone not just the perfect people.

My most embarrassing moment was when my skirt fell down to my ankles while I was walking into a mall. Luckily, I had on a full slip so at least I had some coverage, and I didn't fall when the skirt tripped me.

Of course I was in full view of a bunch of people. I just pulled my skirt back up, went back to my car, and drove off.

I ask this question because it is tough to tell if a straight guy is bi-curious or not. I have noticed that they guys that are homophobic are usually so insecure about their sexuality that they will tend to experiment more than others. I am a straight acting male that has never been with a guy. But, there are times when I see a really buff, good looking guy wearing the right clothes and think that he is a turn on. Right or wrong I feel that way. Guys are very visual beings so when we see a guy really buff with the right hair cut, clothes, and body, I really think 100% of guys take a look at the guy but just do not act on their feelings. Teenagers (18+) and college age guys really try to workout in the gym and look good nowadays. What are you all's thoughts?
