I ask this question because it is tough to tell if a straight guy is bi-curious or not. I have noticed that they guys that are homophobic are usually so insecure about their sexuality that they will tend to experiment more than others. I am a straight acting male that has never been with a guy. But, there are times when I see a really buff, good looking guy wearing the right clothes and think that he is a turn on. Right or wrong I feel that way. Guys are very visual beings so when we see a guy really buff with the right hair cut, clothes, and body, I really think 100% of guys take a look at the guy but just do not act on their feelings. Teenagers (18+) and college age guys really try to workout in the gym and look good nowadays. What are you all's thoughts?

It's perfectly natural to have the feelings you have been having. However, if you know your friend is straight, and he is not bi-curious, bi, or gay at all, what makes you think that he would ever go for anything like that? First of all, he will get the shock of his life that you are bi-curious (and he may not even know what that is). Second, he will get a really big shock when you ask him about becoming a possible sexual partner. Gays or bi's tend to know if a man is non-heterosexual, especially a friend. If he hasn't given you any indication that he would be interested in anything of a sexual nature with another man, I'd advise you to keep your feelings to yourself for now. To do otherwise would jeapordize your friendship with this guy. If you want to experiment, do so with someone who is definitely willing to do so-- and who you know is definitely not "totally straight." I can tell you this: There are guys out there, otherwise perfectly normal straight, gay, and bi men, and they have very few if any male friends because of approaching unsuspecting male friends for sex. P.S. When any friendship turns into a sexual relationship, the friendship essentially ends. Man, do not do this to your male friends. It is difficult enough to acquire them -- do not complicate your life by requesting such a thing from an unsuspecting man in your life who you have either a casual or close platonic friendship with.

You need to be very, very careful here! The scenario you gave describes about 90% of the people who get severely beaten just because someone things the dude might be gay! Seriously, if you are having feelings and want to safely explore them, don't ask a straight guy who might tell the world plus make the rest of your days miserable or get you hurt. If you want to explore your feelings, hook up with someone you know is a like-minded individual. Go to a chat room for bi guys or bi curious guys, talk on the phone, meet in a public place, but don't do ANYTHING without being safe.

Just go for it - - - - most Dudes do it without a lot of words getting in the way - - - simply inviting a 'straight' good looking man over to your place does the trick - - - it is amazing but the phrase 'wanna come over to my place' generates a lot of heat. When two guys are inside of four secure walls and feel that no one is watching, WHAM BAMM things happen. That is just the way of the world. So go for it. See a person you like, smile friendly and ask "wanna come over to my place,' and if they do act as if they don't understand simply say, "do I gotta explain" with just enough exasperation to give them a stiff one. Enjoy.

Be open with your friend about your thoughts in general. You will find he isn't really your friend, truly is, or maybe even..... :-)
If nothing else, you'll have crossed that threshold. If that is too scary though - I'm sure you have other friends & you might be more comfortable talking to one of then about it first.

You sound very intelligent and a great friend to have and I agree with you some guys just look amazing in every way. It's still a sin to act on it though but whether you let that get in the way or not is up to you, after all plenty of straights are fornicators and that also calls for the death penalty not that justifies anything just shows what a hypocritical bunch most Christians are.

get to know the guy. Talk about things and learn. Get some Jack Daniels, becasue when they're drunk, that's when the experimenting tends to come out

its not unusual to have sexual attractions for other guys especially teenagers and college guys. they are in their sexual prime as well as exploration period. so a little experiment here and there do not define their entire life. however they are those who knows what they want and what they dont...or those who are sexually insecure....so approach with caution

I say if you want to experiment then experiment. Intentionally chasing straight men is bound to cause more problems than anything else.
Why make your life more difficult?
