What is it with this section these days?

Is it deemed cool to ask your question in the GLBT section now?
if its not asking about soda, skater boiz and how are your cats, its flippin poot boy with his logs and faskings!
come on guys lets have some REAL questions for this category and put the rest in the right section for a change

of course you have a right to be in this section LISA, but to ask questions about CATS? come on ........

I think you're right.

This section is for questions regarding or related to sexuality and gender identity.

Anything else really belongs in another section. Even if the asker is LGBT

Don't get me wrong, (some of) the community here is great, but if we don't want people coming in here asking about logs and faskings, we need to follow the rules ourselves. It's only fair.

In my question, that had nothing to do about being gay, you wanted a bible quote on why being gay is a sin...so .....
...mind you I don't care if you are gay or who else is, thats your choice...I don't dislike gay people, infact I have no problem with them, everyone sins...its just that being gay is a big one - thats all...so here is what you were asking for......

Again, Yahoo refuses to police the section.

This format is ideal for people, especially young people, to explore their sexuality, but it's spoiled by the inappropriate questions which are about 2 out of every 3.

It doesn't seem strange to me at all.

We should be the welcoming ones -- the ones that turn no one away. I answer the fundamentalists, I answer the people who seem to have no one to turn to and sometimes, yes, sometimes, I'll even answer a question about cooking, or perhaps, about cats.

And I don't get fashed.

being a lesbian maybe my interest may not be a particular question regarding sexuality but as a lesbian i have the right to be in the gay section.since i answered your question fairly as an opinion i would prefer it if you didnt use my name and aim things directly at me as i would and have never done so even to people who have blatantly slagged me off in the past .i think ive under rated the apostrophe
