If it passes, it wouldn't only ban same sex marriage, but domestic partnerships and civil unions as well. My question is what should my partner and I do? I'm thinking of maybe adopting him, would that be legal? He is 7 years younger than me.

My boyfriend recently got a new job as an college educator in a conservative environment, and I want to surprise him by sending him flowers. The question I have is whether I should send them to his house or his new office? If I had them sent to his house then I can send about anything with any message, but the flowers are meant for his new office. If I sent them to his new office, it might raise questions. Any suggestions?

I do not think that if you look at the same sex and see something appealing that you are automatically attracted to that person. Same as if you have a friend that you care for so much and love, it does not mean that you have to marry them.

I think that the media and the public's interpretation of being gay has gone waay out of bounds. Now, if a guy enjoys dancing or painting or singing in an accapella group he is labeled as 'gay'. So when these men hear of all this, they explore their curiosity and get their mind set that they are attracted to the same sex.

i just want to hear your theories on how homosexuality comes along. This is mainly directed at male homosexuality.

Myself, have had 4 long standing female partners( 2 of whom were my wife are the time, and two were "mistresses")
5-8 one-off with females( mainly with prostitutes)
About 20 with males, mostly one offs either in public toilets or hotel rooms.

I'm talking about anybody you might have known in your life, living or now deceased, friends, neighbors, distant relatives. Maybe even famous people you have just read about. Truthfully, did this possibility ever cross your mind?

I have an ex that had someone who use to beat her up, take her money, stole from her, couldn't keep a job and slept with some of her friends. Come to find out she cheated on me with her. I'm a professional with a career, a provider and don't beat my girlfriends. What's up with that?

Well Iam a lesbian and I used to be really butch and look exactly like a boy and their was nothing that was going to change that. Although I always seemed to be kinda the female in the relationship. And now Iam wearing make up and slowly starting to dress alot more like a girl. I still keep my short hair but I just kinda have a strong urge to be more Femme! Iam attracted to femme but aggresive girls....I don't know what's happening to me...Iam changing from what I've been since I was a baby! Is this weird at all?

It's almost as if they want to play up to the stereotype of what a gay man is. Is it really necessary to talk with an effected lisp, walk in a particular way and call other men 'she'. If you're gay, then that's wonderful but why the 'act'...just be gay and happy with it.

I find the word "lifestyle" offencive when used to describe GLBT'S. To me it implies a level of choice as well as a way of living. Such as what car a person drives, what clothes they wear, what restaurants they frequent, how they decorate their home...etc.

I'm a Mom, first and foremost. Being lesbian is just part of the myriad of complexities which make me who I am. It's not the be-all and end-all of my existance. So when I hear the word "lifestyle" refer to GLBT's, I am very offended as if I live differently than anyother woman, Mom, Daughter, Partner or whatever.

Being a "gay activist" (well lesbian-ish) I run across a lot of misinformation, misinterpretations and just plain ignorant homophia. How do you, GLBT's, deal with it? How has it affected your lives?

I am in a gay "monagamous" relationship; I used quotes because from my question you can figure my question here are more details. We have been together for almost 6 years and over those last 6 years my partner repeatedly chats with other guys on line; lately it has come to the point of an obsession with a guy in Australia. He is up at 6 in the morning so that he can chat with for 2-3 hours, and their conversations are very graphic and there has been no mention of me or our relationship in these conversations. How do I know well I installed a viewer to check on the pages visited etc. He knows about this and still persists on doing this chatting, even after I told him how much it hurts me and makes me feel which is like crap. So do you consider this kind of behaviour cheating? Has anybody else experienced this and what did you do about it? Just wanting to work this out, not sure if I will be able to take much more of it. Thanks for you responses and have any questions just ask.....
