I'm Japanese, and one of my English teachers talks about another teacher who is American "he has a cute Irish looking son." What's Irish looking? How do you discribe Irish looking people? Are there British looking, French looking, or German looking people, too?

I'm 65 and he's 30, and we both say, "If I knew then what I know now!"
Is that surmise valid?

I love being a bi guy, and i wouldn't trade it for anything. But i've also had tons of fun with the guys in my troop and at camps. I know the BSA frowns on gays, and I'm not sure if it frowns on bi guys too. I'm also getting tired of pretending to be straight, and having to blow off people that think i'm gay/bi. Can anybody give me some advice, I really don't know where to turn and what to do.

My youngest brother just moved out yesterda and while we're all proud of him, mom's taking it hard, and to be honest, so am I. Mom has a condition so I take care of her, so its not like she's alone, but he's the BABY. I get choked up just thinking about it. it's like he's child, too, not just my brother. i remember his first day of school, i think i cried more than mom at his graduation! anyway, for people who've had their children move out, how did you cope?

please--no suggestions to replace him with a dog or drinking. we have a dog and we DON'T need a drinking problem, lol.

I am trying to deal with the fact that I am gay. I don't know what to do. It's something that I have been fighting since I was a little girl. I don't want to come out to anyone because I am so scared that I will end up alone and potentially break my families heart.
That Dr. Whatever girl makes me feel like that is probably the way my family will treat me and that scares the ever loving crap out of me. I don't know what to do and I am so torn. It's easier to love a guy and have a family, but I am more attracted to women. Why is this so hard and why can't I embrace it?

Like pushing the car to make it start, helping do laundry in tubs, wearing second hand clothes, ect...! PLEASE no NEGATIVE responses, we all had them but lets bury them or keep them to ourselves. This is not the place to vent about horrible things that happened in your past.
