I, myself look pretty good tan, I have like brownish orangish skin, a moderate tan, my legs especially look good. I have blonde hair. i look VERY similar to my avatar

I think a tan does suit some white people, i know girls as young as 14 who are using sunbeds 4-5 times a week and they look like they have been tangoed!
I think its interesting at how some white people are racist to a person due to them being brown, or light skinned yet they are the first to admit they dont want pale white skin and spend time and money on tans!

Yes, I think so, but they have to still look white. I don't like those people who tan so much they look hispanic or something (because you can tell it's not natural). I once saw a guy who was white, but he was so tanned, he looked African! It was really gross cuz his skin just looked so unhealthy.
In the old days, if a person had a tan, it was considered bad because only the working people had tans. Rich people did not.

Well, it depends, but in general, I'd say yes. There are all kinds of tans (farmer tans have a mostly ugly reddish tint to them and are generally found on redneck types)...classy suburban white people usually look good with tans...as long as it's not overly fake. Natural tans are the most attractive.

I think not. We are a northern group of humans with less melanin in our skin to absorb less sunlight than in the tropics.
While young a tan looks ok but constant tannnig ages your skin very rapidly making you look like a 60 year old when 40 and don't forget cancer risks.
Like Noel Coward's song says - only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noon day sun!

i think that darker skin has become a sign of health in some peoples mind. i mean if i see a "see through white person" compared to a tan white person who do u think im gonna think looks healthier. u look like a bubble boy when yur not tan

I think everyone looks good with a real tan. Some of those fake ones are horrible.

It depends on the person.
I think some look good with a light tan, but not those extremely deep tans.

I think it looks very good. I go to the tanning salon all the time, but it isn't very healthy for your skin.
