I'm 65 and he's 30, and we both say, "If I knew then what I know now!"
Is that surmise valid?

The important is for both sex to try to understand.
There is nothing really to understand in women, they just need attention

Same reason on how come women can't understand men. As for your surmise how long should this de ja vu practice go on? As for it being valid I am not so sure. How can stating what you did not know then have any inflection on what you do know now.

Men don't want to understand women. If they did then we all be better off. Sure they give the impression they're trying to understand but all they're trying to do is keep the peace so they can continue to get what they can get from women.

Oh yes, as we age, we learn, so obviously, we know more now than we did when we were younger. I often say, I wish I could step back in time and knock some sense into myself. Oh well, that's life.

if you are expecting a man to interact with you like a woman would, it isn't ever going to happen.

different evolutionary pressures designed us for different things
