in the "black community" the reason why schools shootings in the Midwest(and other areas), happen so effortlessly? I mean, if the worry about crime was evenly distributed, would we as American's be better prepared for and notice the warning signs of school shooters?

Some people seem to take delight in hating, and I see verbal hating when coming on this section. Very rude people. Do they get pleasure out of hating someone? How does dwelling on hate benefit them?

Whenever I hear people debate the 'cause' of homosexuality, they always seem to think that there is only one of them. Has anybody ever thought that some people might be born homosexual, while others are born heterosexual and just choose to have sex with members of thier own gender?

I'm gay, but I've had sex with women. I don't think that changes the fact that I prefer men. If I started dating a women, I would still be gay. I think in a simialar way, some heterosexual people may experiment with thier own gender without changing who they are.

So what do you think about my ramblings?

The words we use in extremis to descibe noxious individuals are important. All we in the UK can seem to use is the F word, the C word, the S word, without embellishing the lattere with a terminal 'e'. Leaving aside Shakespearian or Churchillean invective, I feel the US have got it right with the full-length expression 'SOB'. It simply rolls off the tongue. Britons, should we adopt it? Americans, what are your views?

Expressions like "Yo", and "Forget you", as well as "talking with the hands" comes from Italians!
So-called gang styles, like wearing the hat on backward, chain-locks around the neck, and pulling a pant leg up on one side, were invented by bicycle riders. To keep their hats from blowing off, having to keep from unlocking and locking thier locks, and getting grease on, and their pant leg in the chain, respectively!
When will you realize you cannot find self-respect with outside things. Like clothes and the fronts people put on? It has to be done on the inside. By giving Love and Respect to Others!

Or that the world isn't gonna revolve around you? I'm not trying to make the world revolve around me or cater to me. I have special needs. & I get more verbal attacks since I'm mentally disabled.

& has anyone ever told you that the world doesn't have to understand or care about your disability?

That makes me feel like I don't have a right to live. I'm disabled & deserve the right to special accommodations.

I remember when they came out. She was my idle and copied her looks and could because I'm Native American, had long hair and her age. When she had the bump taken out of her nose I thought it took from her looks, because, I think she's beautiful and certainly represents us to the highest level. What do you think!

What's up with people on here going around preaching that those having one-night-stands and group sex have no morals or respect for their bodies?

Who are you to pass your judgment on other people who choose not to believe in the same way as you do? As long as the person is an adult, knows his needs at any time, knows to use protection - what is wrong wit having some fun? Who are you to judge him/her? Do you blindly follow people's opinion as pass them as the truth?

I've never seen such closed-mindedness on the LGBT section before. Why is this happening now?

I just watched a video, which i now added to my blog(link below), and it made me feel bad about how i cant do alot of things. it is of three friends who were adventurous and skiied, paddled, and surfed all in one day. I was born with Spina Bifida, and although I can walk, there are alot of things I cant just go and do. like i cant swim, so i couldnt do the surfing like those three friends did. i wish i could just be spontanous and have fun, it sucks that life has to be so much more challenging for me. i always have to think "can i do this, is there a bathroom there(i have bathroom issues)" before i go places. it causes me to be fearful of doing many things! does anyone else disabled here feel this? how can i get over this and live like those three people???

I am 37 yrs old. I grew up in a the G&L community since I was 5. I am considered 1st generation. I am not going to say it was easy. I had to lie to people about why lived with my mom and my "aunt". I grew up during the onset of AIDS, listening to how it was the gay cancer etc. I think that children of G&L's have it much easier todaythan in the 70-80's. While the G&L community is my culture, I dont fit in to either gay or straight groups. Is there any kind of group or place where there are other people like me? Sometimes I just feel like I dont fit anyplace. I feel like I'm always looking out the window at "the other side" of my life.

If your a closed minded, chaw chewing redneck, bible thumping, holier than though A$$hole keep your thoughts to yourself. Dont wast your time or mine.

If you can give me honest input and understand my situation, plz answer and share your experience or a web site other than PFLAG. I am not PFLAG, I am the adult child of a lesbian couple
