It's like this. We were bestfriends and then it turned into bestfriends with benefits and then it turned into I dont know ... watever we have. All our friends thought we were secretly dating even when we were just friends so u can imagine how close we were. Anyway I really love him because he's the closest person in the world to me and I couldn't imagine not having him in my life friend or otherwise but sometimes I really hate his guts because he becomes such a patronizing, arrogant dick to me when we're in the company of other ppl (think "little wife" syndrome) which he never was when we were bestfriends and I would be fine with it if he backed it up by actually taking initiative or being u know more ...boyfriendly, towards me but he's such a p***y he would never stand up for himself much less me and it really hurts me because I think I deserve a guy who actually puts a little effort into being with me instead of someone who is using me for convenience sake... I dunno, your thoughts?

this is to all the people that insist on posting/asking in this section that are against GLBT indiviuals: Why bother, it's just going to upset us, thus cause us to report you, and then you'll be deleted from yahoo for hate speech. It's a waste of your time and ours. This section is for serious answers that aren't based out of genuine hatred for GLBT persons. You'd do yourself a great service to just disregard this section if you're so against it. So why are you still hanging around it?

My ex-girlfriend use to brag about her old life as a prostitute all the time. She thought it was the best thing in the world. She would even tell the younger girls that that's the way she made her money. She wasn't bought up like this,as what i can see from her family. What in the world would make her turn to this way of living and thinking?I believe she left me and went back to her old way of living.

I recently found out that my wife has kissed a freind of hers at work a few times, I don't know how to take it. I know she is attracted to women and that is kind of sexy but what is okay when it comes to fulfilling those fantasies? I confroned her about it and she says it is no big deal but the only reason I found out was by reading some emails that she talks with her frinds about. Advice?

my parents havent seen me with a boyfriend since high school (im 22 now)....ive had a few "male companions" throughout college but nothing was too serious.

my little sister is constantly running around with boys and she always talks about her relationships with my parents. i have "relationships" of my own, i just dont date as much as my sister and i dont feel the need to share every detail about my life with my family/parents.

my parents seriously think im a lesbian. if i was, id be happy about the fact that theyre perfectly ok with it. should i just let them keep thinking that rather than making a big deal out of it?? im not much of the confrontational type.

Im fairly new to yahoo questions. As a gay individual, I've enjoyed looking at the questions in this category. However, I've noticed a large group of people coming into this section and saying hurtful things. Many times these items criticize gays for being hateful, for having a political agenda, and the like. I'm at a loss.

I guess I don't understand people. Why do people feel the need to protest at funerals saying, "God hates fags"? Why do people log onto a LGBT section to belittle others? Why do people disseminate such hatred toward other humans?

Aren't we all just trying to get by? Isn't the world made of imperfect people? What motivation or satisfaction do people get from saying such things?

I've avoided hurting others. I'm nice. So, why do people hate me for something that doesn't even affect them? I'm growing frustrated with the hatred, many times on both sides. So I ask, why are we all mean?

should we as a nation, remove gay people to an island because they preach "open mindedness" but it really just means "accept us or die" . if someone says they were open minded, but then decided being gay was wrong, gays would call that person a closed minded bigot, even though they kept an open mind and heard both sides.

is enough enough? is it time to put gays in internment/re-education camps?

Why is it that people who are homo or bisexual get shunned all the time? Also, I have a bisexual friend who wants me, but I'm having mixed feelings, & I need help. I wanna stay straight because I don't want my family to disown me. Well, they already disowned me for other reasons. & like if I were 2 turn BI, would I really go 2 hell 4 it?

I was just wondering if some one could tell me.
Has swinger come to mean something different than it once did.
You know sometimes words change meanings over time such as at one time gay meant happy and joyful and now it means of course homosexual.
The reason I am asking this question is that for me swinger has always had the meaning of an alternate lifestyle as explained in this link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swinger
However I see people on here listing themselves as swingers that have no interest in this type of lifestyle at all and think that it is gross or too far off the wall.
Some of these "swingers" are too young, 18 to 20 years old, to even know what they are.
Therefore I would like to know if the term has changed meanings or people are just trying to be misleading in their profiles.
As for me, I prefer the original meaning and that is what I choose to live by.
For those of you who would think that my lifestyle is gross or bad, well, all I can say is I never asked for an opinion.
Darryl
