Gold and paltinum teeth are a big thing with the urban culture because it can be done in a matter of hours in a dentist office, where as education takes actual time and work to achieve. Next time you see the gold grill think to yourself there goes a college education and it will all be in perspecive.

What else are they going to spend their money on. I'm sure they already dropped as much money as they could into their ride. It works out just fine though, their teeth may not rot, but instead of investing or saving or making that money work for you they're blowing it so after their year in the spotlight they'll be poor and trying to pawn those same teeth while if they had spent their money wisely they would be set for life.

Yeah, I think it looks pretty stupid too. They try to brag off their money kind of like, "Hey look, my teeth are gold." Pearly white teeth looks a lot better.

Grills aren't permanent, they can be taken out at any time. Although I do agree they look ridiculous.

I actually think when boys get grills and stuff it makes them look better. It draws attention away from they face.

they want people to see how much money they have, by flashing those teeth. they figure if it shines, people will think they are rich. i agree with you, the look pretty funny to me.
