Nowadays, people will take one look at someone that's not "normal" and start judging them. For obese people, the general stereotypes are that obese people are incompetent and they only care about food. Even on television, obese people are made the subject of many jokes and obese/overweight characters are not taken seriously with few exceptions.

okay umm. I have a hispanic girl in my class and she looks really white. And i heard from my mother that hispanic ancestors come from spain. But i think in my opinion that they crossed with blackpeople and umm stuff you know, so they are a little darker. So should we consider them white??? UMM and my friend is indian so i am not rackist

would that mean there was a gay gene? if so, would that suggest that this gene was passed on through the family gene pool? If so, would that mean that there would be several people in the person's family within the last few generations that were gay? If the family didn't have several gay family members, how can one say it's genetic?

Don't get me wrong, i'm not homophobic, but I just want to clarify my understanding of genetics. When I think of genetics, I think of features or something else that is common among a family line such as facial features, etc. So if there is in fact a gay gene, which would be the case if a person was born gay, where are all the gay relatives?

People are in this section bashing gays and lesbians...I mean, if we're so "nasty" and "unGodly" and all the other negative things you have to say about us, then why are you in this section reading our questions anyway??? I seriously want to start my life almost over. The past is completely hideous with the ludicrously dysfunctional family; the horrid people in high school; the lackadaisical ways due to depression, bipolar disorder, physical illnesses; the failure to reach goals; bad character; etc. . I'm 20 years old and going for my Associates degree in college with 3 weeks of this semester and one final semester left. Once I'm finished, I'd like to bail out of hellhole house that I live in and leave everyone behind me because carrying these horrendous bits and pieces of the past will haunt me. However, I'll keep these things in mind to remind myself to keep moving positively forward.

Two Gay women and A straight guy that are friends hanging out sort of Mimicking the Idea of Will and Grace. As a straight guy it's natrual for me to assume Gay women hate stragiht men,(I know it's not true) But I never interact with them socially and I rarley see stragiht guys and Gay women chilling as freinds. (I'm not saying it doesn't exist I just rarely see it.) Where as Gay men and Straight women love each other. I'm wondering if some sort of new Hit TV show came out it may bridge the Gap a little bit. Do you think we will see it, will it help.

Interesting fact: 1 in 10 Americans abstain from sex, but only 1 in 50 abstain from TV...anyway, I went about a year and a half without TV, because I couldn't stand the depressing, biased 'news', vapid shows, celebrity worship, omnipresent commercials and unoriginal sitcoms. How about you?

Seriously, I'm a good guy, attractive, smart, friendly, all that jazz. The big problem is that I live in a small southern rural community where being gay is seen as worse than being racist. I barely know any gay guys, and for me, they're just more acquaintances that might be willing to hook up with me but I'm not interested in just sex. I don't have any good gay friends. So does anyone have any solutions? Should I look into moving to New York lol? It's just depressing seeing the same heterosexual losers talking about how they're in love blah blah blah and I haven't even ever been on a real date.
