People are in this section bashing gays and lesbians...I mean, if we're so "nasty" and "unGodly" and all the other negative things you have to say about us, then why are you in this section reading our questions anyway??? I just find that there are wayyy too many "gaybasher" in our territory....You guys should question your own sexualities...You must have some interest b/c you come here too much...Now explain that!

I know that sometimes random questions from each category appear on the main page, however my point remains valid due to the fact that these people actually take the next step to click on the question to read in full, and actually take time out of their lives to respond....Interesting...

Actually these questions are listed under the society & culture questions along with religion questions & other things. And not all Christians would read these to bash anyone or because they are questioning their sexuality. Some people really are just trying to understand others better w/o judging or condemning. As a Christian I am sad about how many claiming to be christians treat the gay community. I think there needs to be more understanding & kindness. That is what Jesus modeled in the Bible.

Unfortunately I think most immature adolescents will always have fun bashing homosexuals, the overweight, the clumsy, the uncool, or anyone else who does not fight into their pardigm of hipness. People are interested just because the subject seems so taboo to them. Yahoo! answers seems to be an adolescent haven, so it's not surprising that your territory has been bombarded by puerile comments. The religious seem to resist everything, even the advancement of the sciences (as Galileo found out). I think these people should be ignored because they tend to love incitement.

I happen to agree with a lot of what you said. Unfortunately, it's not going to stop. A lot of these people feel that they must come here to "save" us, or "convert us". I just find it laughable. They are entitled to their opinions, and so are we. We should be able to discuss them in a civilized manner. But have you noticed that when we have a response to something that they have said in this section, we are just wrong, wrong, wrong? So much for intelligent discussion!

I think you need to be more compassionate to these pitiful people..their lives are filled with so much hate, and it certainly is not limited to Gays..they hate everything about them, and about themselves...they find no peace in life. They are basically friendless and resent those who live lives they enjoy.
