I am starting a African American group in my high school. Its going to be named Society for African American High School advancement. Do you guys have any ideas. I personally love my town. Though I pretty much live in a ghetto area I really don't mind. My town is huge 2nd largest town/city after Chicago in Illinois. I've got my East side pride. I wonder if anyone could have complete hatred for their own hometown. You might not like the people or the surrounding but you know you will always have a place for it in your heart. Am I right?

DARFUR? There is a genocide, and many people I meet have not even HEARD of the country. I am part of a club, and some of the members and I went to Washington D.C. went to protest the genocide. Darfur is in Africa and the black Africans are routinely attacked, raped, and worse by the janjaweed. (a.k.a. arab militia.)
