I tend to take my life for granted... I feel like i could do more with my life but i dont take advantage of it. I dont use today like i should instead i waste it and dont really think about the time passing by. Im allways trying to get more so i dont enjoy what i have today. How can i stop this cycle and show more appreciation and live in the present. This really bugs me but i never break the cycle that im in... anyone else ever feel like this....

is it ok to tell you grandparents that you're straight even if you're not?? if they are really, really old, very religious and closeminded people. and even if your parents told them you're a lesbian they wouldn't believe it.

I live in New York, Manhattan and I've been robbed at gun point twice. Both times it was by a black person. I looked up the statistic of black violence and crime and it is higher then any other group. I am not saying all black people are like this, or course not. There are black judges, police, lawyers and doctors. The general defense is police only stop black people so there is a higher chance of them finding a black criminal. To these people I say this, I think every ethnic group has a certain type of crime that they tend to commit. Black men just tend to be more aggressive and violent period. The average black man has about 10% more testosterone then a white man. At the same time I have yet to hear of a black serial killer who ate his victims. Maybe there is a biological reason why mostly white men do this. If we do not identify the real reason why so many blacks are comiting violent crimes the problem cannot be solved. Why not take a look at biology to solve this problem?

I found out that my girlfriend had an emotional affair in December after being together for four years. I went to talk to my friend and I confessed that I might have a crush on her. I told her that I felt very hurt because of my girlfriend's actions and that I might be just confused. We left it there and now it's February. I get the feeling that my friend who is involved with someone else, might started having feelings for me. She stares at me and when I look at her, she looks away. She sometimes touches me. If I am over at her place and needs to go, she gets annoyed. She especially gets annoyed when my girlfriend sends a text message or phones. How can I be sure about this? I don't want to loose her friendship but we can't get involved with each other if we are both still in other relationships. What should I do?

I am an underpriviledged teenager and at the age of 17 live like I am from the 1950's or 60's. I live in the slumy part of town but, have a happy life. Considering I am a girl is it weird I never want to leave this place?
A day in my life:
I wake up to a bell alarmclock (old fashioned)
I walk to school 2 and 1/2 miles away
I am in the smart class and make A's
I am made fun of because I don't want or have a cell phone, ipod, or popular clothes
After school a group of 8 of my close friends (a gang type) meet in the parking lot
There is only 2 girls in the group (includiing me) and the rest are boys
We walk home and I do my homework
after we meet at a local gas station, go to the park, or watch a movie
We usually steal from stores for cigarettes and beer
we are nice decent people just poor
our parents don't really care about what we do
we then go home at 11-2 and go to sleep
the odd thing is I want to graduate then live in this neighborhood the rest of my life
Odd?

I believe fear, being a primal human emotion, brings repercusions like anger, hate and utimately pain, drugs, alcohol, etc. If we are more aware of our surroundings, we wouldn't have to recede to such a primal emotion to touch grownd with one another, therefore aproaching the circumstance from an educated point of view.

we remember ve day ,vp day , 911,even have set days for xmass ,and the smallest things
yet the biggest christian day we let fall where whim and the moon let it fall ,im talking about easter/passover a day not set in stone but one we all count on to excuse our sin
by the day our lord and saviour died for us.

the most important day to get right we persist in changing ,so we have sunday or can see by the moon or whatever
