we remember ve day ,vp day , 911,even have set days for xmass ,and the smallest things
yet the biggest christian day we let fall where whim and the moon let it fall ,im talking about easter/passover a day not set in stone but one we all count on to excuse our sin
by the day our lord and saviour died for us.
the most important day to get right we persist in changing ,so we have sunday or can see by the moon or whatever
IT IS THE DAY JESUS DIED
i have deleted my own quetion about it two times ,because NO ONE CAN EXPLAIN ,or because some reply with
my question is why cant his death ,[and being born again] be set in stone?
fixed as is even such days as mentioned
imagine changing 9/11 ,the uproar ,were we to have it at different days ,not obey the laws of man and arbitarilly change it to suit what whim?
WHY NOT FOT THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY TO US JESUS DIED TO SAVE?
im not deleting again

i am not worried anout the egg thing nor the easter bunny thing in the least
they are only symbols
im concerned about the timming
in rite proper cerimony
TIMMING IS EVERY THING
we got the gregorian calwender as i understasnd so that the correct timming could be achieved
it is the timming
being at the correct day ,not the name of the day nor what goes with it ,ie the easter thing
its trhe right timming for the last supper /exodus/pasover lamb
the crucifiction ,and the being raised ,the appearance ,and the birth
we can yet have
xmass ,and easter
but we must have the right timming for birth and martal death and reserection ,
is it too much
pope john paul said it in 0404
get the right time
for our own sakes or for our christ
we can con-tin-ue the wrongs of our past or repair to jesus that of jesus
father please
some leadership ,guidence truth now?

Actually he died on passover. Easter is pagan like Christmas. SO is the easter bunny. Its all evil.
Gospel of John says about the last supper "the day before the passover" He died the next day....hmmm.....thats PASSOVER. Study passover and see....He is the Passover lamb.

I am not an expert of history but maybe some things that I know might help. Lets look at Christmas and Easter. Most Christian leaders acknowledge that Jesus was not born in the winter. The winter solstice had some kind of pagan doings. The date for Christmas was probably meshed in there somehow.
Now Easter is associated with the Jewish passover. The Jews used a lunar calender. Both Roman and Eastern Orthodox popes decided on a way to take the Jewish holiday and convert it our calender. When the reformation came many years later and the influence of the pope diminished. At least for Christians like myself. Personally I focus on what God did on Easter and not too concerned with the exact date.

He died on Friday, then was taken down before sundown because the Jewish sabbath was coming. He was in the grave that Friday night, all thru Saturday, then was raised on Sunday.
Easter is the celebration of his resurrection, that he lived again. So that day is Sunday, the first day of the week. That's why Easter falls on a Sunday every year.
Its the Sunday after the Jewish holiday of Passover. Remember, he was having the Last Supper, celebrating Passover with his apostles, right before he was betrayed with a kiss and taken to an illegal nightly trial...

I have no argument with you, but what can I do about it?
We have already kicked out the Easter bunny along with Santa. I teach my kids what it is really all about. But I don't know how to answer you about the day.
I do like that it is always on a Sunday because then we are always in church, and many people who may not normally come will go.
It is the most important day to me, but, again, I don't what I could do!!!

Yeah, you do know that Easter isn't a Christian holiday right? The name of the day comes from the Germanic Goddess Ostara. It's Pagan, it's a fertility holiday...that's why there's Easter eggs and bunny rabbits associated with it.
Your religious predecessors adapted the festival (without even changing the name!) to somewhat more Christianized theme, it's still a Pagan holiday. You should adopt a more historically accurate day for celebration of your God's resurrection instead of trying to usurp Pagan festivals.

The reason is that the devil is the prince of this world still and he is trying to destroy Christianity, all;l the holidays are adopted from pagan religions, Easter is the passover and the EA STAR is a pagan fertility god or demon, that's why they use the bunny for Easter because the bunny is quick to reproduce. And the Bible warns of them changing the times and dates of the sacred things! It is all coming to pass.

It is not important exactly what day is set aside to remember our Lord's birthday or his crucifiction......what is important is that we recognise the events & the significance of them.Nobody knows the exact dates of either so pleeeeae don't get yourself in knots over the fine detail...remember the significance of what God did for mankind & spread the word.

Easter is a pagan festival, stolen by the early church to try and absorb pagans and draw them away from their own religion. All the christian festivals are the same.
