I am an immortal being simply because an immortal God has made me immortal like Him. God is the heart of this matter.

Of course. After all, it was God who granted the immortality in the first place. And immortality has to be EARNED.
It is not given out to just anyone who lines up for it.
And death is no free ticket to it.
Revelation 20; 12,13 states that those who have died will be resurrected. And THEN we will be asked if we will comply with god's new system.
Many will not and will suffer the consequences.
Rev. 21;8

Not at all. Immortality is impossible, so I stuck with the next best thing: mortality.

Regardless, a god in inferior food for thought.

Would be very bad to be an immortal and be cut into pieces.
Still would want not to pi** God off.

If you're immortal, God matters more than ever, because it's God who decides where you spend eternity.

In many respects no because there is no judgement in an afterlife for you. However, perhaps God would matter in terms of spiritual fulfillment. Also, everybody around you would die except for God. You'd never be alone.

If you even exist God still matters, he is holding all things together and he give life to all things, so if you are alive it is because he gave you another breath. Be thank full!
