What has it ever done to further society? What has it done of value for everyone other than give us more reasons to hate one another? What real knowledge has it given us to make the world a better place? How is it even nearly as valuable as medicine, or science? Has it given us anything reliable to base our knowledge of the universe on?

Anything good that comes out of religion can also come from secular sources, however much of the evil and ignorance that we see as a result of religion is exclusive to a religious mindset.

So why should we give it any respect at all?

I am not a physical or intimate person and I would rather be intimate in private versus in public. My gf likes to hold hands in public, which i don't mind, but I really don't like it when she touches my breast or anything like that in public. Is this normal behavior or is she really over the top?

Sure, God was angry and remorseful and enraged, but why destroy the animals and birds, too? What did they do wrong?

C'mon church people, tell us a little about your Old Testament God. He did collective punishment as distinct from individual punishment, plus he was about to kill the birds too. What's up with that?

The Muslims do it, The Shiite, Sunnis, etc, Attacking eachother. Why isn't there any Christian in-fighting and slaughter? Such as Baptists attacking Evangelicals, Jehovah Witnesses and 7th Day Adventice fighting over who is right and wrong.

I'm 16 and my best friend is gay. We do everything together, but lately it has been getting kind of creepy. He always wants to hold my hand when we go out, and he touches me inappropriately when we're alone. Is this normal? I mean, I wouldn't let my bf get away with half the things he does to me. I keep thinking since my friend is gay (which i am 100% sure of), none of this really means anything to him so I let him get away with it even though i am unconfortable with it a lot of the time. Any advice on what to do?
