we read history, try to learn that things but after a while we forget to
implement it in our life and at the very end we deny our mistake, so in this way we deny the gist of history and try to submit it in a false way.

As far as teaching them that the fantasy of Santa Clause is real, and truly worthy of debate. Don't you think that you are inviting them to think that Jesus is a fantasy too when they finally realize that Santa isn't real, or the tooth fairy or the Easter bunny?

Athiests: we know you think it's all fantasy~ so this question isn't really warranting your opinion.

Is there any event in the Bible, that if discovered as historically accurate with proof, would make you reconsider its accuracy, and in turn reconsider God?

My hubby is Agnostic, and a very intelligent and educated man, who was raised in a hard core religious home. We were having a discussion last night, and one of the things we talked about prompted the question. (I dont want to change him mind, or yours, simply curious)

For example, if there was proof of an event, such as the flood, Noahs ark was really found, and I mean really, not just some pic somewhere, or the ArC of the Covenant, or proof of say the 10 plauges, would you re-think your belief?

Proof of what event would be significant to you?

Again, curious only, not the kind of girl whose going to go find some half truth propoganda and throw it at you!

The world could handle a lot if individual polution if there were a lot fewer people.

There are some people who claim ,Falsely, that there is more than enough food grown but that is blatently untrue as there are a great many (most) people who are under nourished in the world and this is not just because we can't get the food to them.

We are stretching the limits of what the land can produce and not giving the land any ability to rest and recover.

Do they really not approve? Or do they stifle a laugh before their personal sabotage of 'my' human rights and 'my' freedom of speech?

It is impossible for me to believe that 100% of religious people have exactly the same lack of humour.

Since Intelligence can be measured and there are different levels. Doesn't that proof without a doubt that an infinite level of intelligence exists.

And since it takes a great deal of intelligence to understand the laws of the universe. Doesn't that proof that our universe was built or created by intelligence?

It can't be overlooked that many people are religious because of the obvious benefits of the church itself: communities, a place for spiritual and inner growth, a day of rest, quiet contemplation.

Perhaps atheism would be more widely adopted it some kind of secular, naturalistic worldview component could fill the void?

Science and philosophy could certainly provide better, more thorough, and more progressive avenues for personal growth and fulfillment. There would be no more liberal theologians awkwardly defending the virgin birth, but and the handicap of faith wouldn't restrict the advancement of the church unit itself.

Has anyone else considered this? If atheists are serious about pulling people away from faith, shouldn't they consider how to fill the social and psychological void that a church fills?
