Would you like it very much if someone of another faith told you that YOU were a sinner for not believing in their god (s) ??? God gave man free will, why is it so hard for man to respect that? And perhaps you could research your own faith a little, and you might find some interesting facts on the origions of christmas, look up Mithraism to start. I think alot of the reason ppl are put off and don't even want to consider most religion is because they are put off by self righteous fanatics, fear mongering (you shouldn't have to scare someone into finding god) and the ongoing dishonesty of the church. And people usually don't appreciate being treated like they are stupid. Every person has the ability to find god and Jesus on their own, for the spirit is within all of us, it is between god and each person when that time will be. Or not be. Unless you actually care about a particular person's soul burning in hell, and aren't just being self righteous and mean, mind your own damn business and leave others to lead their spiritual lives as they see fit!

It's in appropriate to talk to anyone about their religion, or lack there of. Regardless, you would be waisting your breath speaking to a true atheist since they don't believe that Jesus existed at all; it will be difficult for you to convince them that someone who never existed " died for their sins". You wouldn't be reminding them of anything, because they never knew it in the first place. And everyone has the right to celebrate in their own way. Are they hurting or infringing on your right to do what you want or being inappropriate by interfering with your traditions and celebration? My guess is that they could care lees about what your doing so don't bother expelling your energy on bring others down. That's not very Christian of you. Love your Atheist neighbor.

This world is too big for you to take on such a fight. Atheists can believe what they want to believe........as you. They have made a conscience decision, so let them be. God is bigger than you so let it be handled by Someone that has all the Answers. When God decided to Create he didn't ask for YOUR opinion... so relax and let God do His work.

Jesus (also known as the 'christened one'..hence 'Christ')

Born to Joseph and Mary while they were traveling to Nazareth for the Roman census.

Only one Roman Census was ever conducted there...
February to March of 4 A.D.

Guess I should ask you if it is inappropriate to tel you you got the wrong date and year huh?

Simultaneously inappropriate, ignorant, and sadistic, to attempt to force your belief on someone through fear.

What kind of person believes that their god required a human sacrifice of his own son in order to forgive them so they won't have to spend eternity being tortured?

I think "arrogant" more than "innapropriate"...

And useless. People don't like to be preached to, or threatened by the ignorant. So feel free, but don't be stunned if you get punched.

No go right ahead, most atheists are intelligent enough, to not really care what people who believe in fairytales think of them anyway.

Preach on brother

Hardly. Aetheists proselitize just as much as your average bible-thumper, so in my opinion both deserve each other's rantings.

Only if I can remind you that arrogance doesn't get you into heaven.
