It's according to which god. The existence of an omibenevolent, omniscient and omnipotent god can be disproven to the same extent that a square circle can be disproven.
Epicurus did away with the possibility of an omnimax deity even before the New Testament was written.
“The gods can either take away evil from the world and will not, or, being willing to do so cannot; or they neither can nor will, or lastly, they are able and willing. If they have the will to remove evil and cannot, then they are not omnipotent. If they can but will not, then they are not benevolent. If they are neither able nor willing, they are neither omnipotent nor benevolent..Lastly, if they are both able and willing to annihilate evil, why does it exist? ” -Greek philosopher Epicurus (341-270 BCE)
As for other gods. You can't disprove anything unless it is defined in such a way as to offer tests that would disprove it. An atheist is not someone who says that they can disprove the existence of god(s). An atheist is someone who doesn't believe that there are any.

Proof that God does not exist.
1. God is all powerful.
2. God is all knowing.
3. God created man with free will.
1 and 2 make 3 an impossibility. If God is more powerful than us, and all knowing then he could not make random events occur. They would not be random, the events would be known before they occurred.
The above proves that God can not exist within reason. Out of reason he may exist, but I do not base my beliefs within insanity.

First of all, not to you, because you have decided that God does exist and will say, "But how do you explain THIS?" Secondly, most nontheists will tell you they believe the truth is unknowable but have chosen not to believe.
I believe God does not exist because God conveniently is always on your side. God made us to be the paragon of life. God loves us unconditionally. The world revolves around humans. God won't send _you_ to hell, but everyone who disagrees with you is going to burn.
I also personally think the idea is a bit crazy and creepy. But if theism works for you, go for it. Just leave us atheists alone.

No, all they can do is prove that organized religion (mainly Christianity since it's the one they always focus on) is corrupt, misleading, contradicting and so on. I can do the same thing because those are man made institutions and God is barely in the forefront anymore.
Nobody can prove or disprove God's existence, we're all going on opinions here.

You are the one professing to 'believe'...so Believe will you.....
I profess to not believe a God exists. I am therefore professing a Truth...ie; God does not exist...does it pass the test...let's test my Truth...Is a lack of God self evident...? Yes....Oh dear it passed the test..Therefore God doesn't exist...OK lets test the corrollary of my hypothesis...ie; God does exist....does it pass the test...let's test the new Truth..Is God self evident...? No....Oh dear it failed the test..therefore God doesn't exist...In both cases it was proven beyond doubt that through application of a simple Truth Test that God doesn't exist...Ergo my friend God doesn't exist.....
There...happy now...??
You on the other hand are professing a Truth....ie; God exists....It doesn't pass the test however as you are so obviously ignoring....It is Not Self Evident...therefore as a Truth...ergo it Fails.....
Me prove a hypothesis I don't even espouse to...??...This has got to be 'Candid Camera'...come on where is it......LOL.....
Now its your turn...Prove that God exists...goooo ooooonn....I had to now its your turn...only don't cheat and use your books...you can only use your brains.....

Stop asking this question and just believe whatever you want to. Stop thinking about what others think and make sure that you are in peace with yourself believing in Him. Its sounds harsh but believe is a matter of faith. And no matter how hard you tried to make others believe that is not going to happen just because you tell them. Just be happy knowing that if you are in the right path you can sleep at night, and if u dont wake up well you will see for yourself where a re you going to be next.

Which god? Due to the nature of any being that doesn't live in or impact on the physical world in any observable or measurable sense, no one can disprove the existence of a god.
We can, however, prove that the bible is largely false and that actions attributed to the Christian God didn't happen. For example, the bible suggests all life was created more or less as it is, about six thousand years ago over a period of six days. This isn't how or when life began, and this can be proven.

No one can prove or disprove anything unfortunately. It would certainly be a cure for world peace wouldnt it? We all need something to believe in, good vs evil, God vs Satan. Something that gives meaning to the world. As long as we try always to do the best thing possible, then does it matter if God exists or not? Maybe that should be the question?

Nope. Just like theists cannot prove that god does exist. It's a matter of belief. Although, I think the burden of proof is on the theists.

Burden of proof is on both sides, any side. If there was proof and evidence upholding theory, thru observation, then we would not be here. What we have is the opposite of what we are taught, in how to approach, observe, reproduce, solidify evidence of, to produce and show a truth and fact. But instead, we have the 'truth or fact', and a continuance of finding evidence of, and basing other theories on it being a fact. Backwards logic.
