Why do people think that halloween is evil? They juts end up ruining everyone's fun! There's no point in going around telling children that they are going to hell for getting candy. Also, what do you think about the phrase 'trick-or-treat" isn't it a little threatening? My grandma says that as a child she used to say 'halloween apples'.

The evidence is all around you. Who created everything? Who created nature? Want more evidence? Look in the mirror, he created you. All you have to do is talk to him, he hears your every word. He talks to everyone that believes in him because he is real. You say you can't see him? Can you see love? He made the air you breath, that should be all the proof you need, without him you wouldn't even be alive. What do you think of these kids that are obviously in high school trick or treating alongside of three and four year olds. The little kids dressed as bob the builder and dora and the older kids dressed like satan? Doesn't seem right to me.

Just a note, this isn't a question to offend anyone. I'll note that I am a Christain, not one that adheres to organized religion, but truley believe in a higher power, and lean towards the fact that Jesus truly was who he said.

But I do struggle with these beliefs often due to the fact that almost everyone who is religious, was raised in that particular religion, and had these beliefs drilled into their heads at a very early age.

My point is that if you had an isolated population, who teaches their children even the most absurd things, I think it's nearly a certainty that they will believe this. And most likley continue to believe this even if they are introduced to the rest of society at a later age.

And again I know religion is a touchy subject, and this is not meant to offend anyone, I'm just curious to hear peoples thoughts or rebuttles.

Like if you were up against someone who was in the military most likely that person will get the job.

If you are up against someone *say you are white and they are of a different race* that person might end up getting the job because of skin color....because places don't want to discriminate against a certain race..so they need to have a certain number of each...

Same with a better looking person.

why do they do this? even though one person might be more qualified than the other.
