Arrogance is worse because they don't care if they're wrong, they don't want to hear the truth, they think they've above it all while an ignorant person often has no idea that they're mistaken and might be open to changing if educated or shown the truth.

Arrogance... but I don't hate it, it's a useful trait at times, as long as it's not constantly overbearing. We are all ignorant about one thing or the other, we were born ignorant, it's a totally natural state. So if you hate both and think both are equally bad, then quit being ignorant and arrogant about ignorance and arrogance?

I believe I'd say I hate ignorance more than arrogance.

The lives that are affected by ignorance are numerous! Ignorance about cultures, religions, etc. causes so many problems and hatred of others.

Even though a person is arrogant and thinks they are all that doesn't mean that they are hateful (although the two can go hand in hand).

Arrogance has little hope of being cured, and is therefore worse. An arrogant person will not heed instruction, even if blatantly and publicly proven wrong. Ignorance, however, can be remedied with education.

Although I dislike ignorance in this current mood of paranoia that the world is in it is impossible to have the true facts so ignorance can be excused.Arrogance on the other hand is inexcusable and those who are responsible should be despised and hated. The trouble is people like that are so arrogant they don't care.

I think ignorance is worse because it's about knowing better but choosing to ignore it! Arrogance on the other hand, the person may not realise that they are not as great as they think they are....disillusionment I would say

arrogance the other maybe can't be helped.
I believe god hates arrogance more to.
Remember the pharasee on the top of the stairs in the temple.
He wasn't lieing he was praying and said Thank you god that I am not like other men. I give a tenth and all this blah blah!
The other man was a sinner and said, "forgive me father for I have sinned." god liked him better. Because he was humble.
Some people brag about their greatness.

Arrogance *is* ignorance. When people are arrogant they are ignorant to the fact that they are *not* the best the world has to offer. The best the world has to offer is difference.

Definitely ignorance. People who are ignorant of others cultures and beliefs, can be very offensive and hurtful.

Arrogance is very annoying, but you can generally laugh at someone's arrogance, whereas I think ignorance can be much more harmful.
