do you beleive that some body could get possesed and then have an exorcist remove it?

No, I don't. But I believe that the human mind more complex than we think it is. There are multiple personality disorders that most everyone has heard about. There are probably times that someone has such a disorder and it appears that they are "possessed". Such a person might even believe in possession, and believe that they are possessed. If so, they might subconsciously think that the only way to expel whatever is possessing them is for an exorcist to do it. But, in the end, everything that happened in the person happened within their brain, and if we knew more about the brain, we could possibly observe the disorder and treat it without resorting to using a superstitious ritual.

I do believe that people can be victims of possession - I've been one.

I do NOT believe exorcists have any idea what they're doing. Christian exorcists would have you believe that possession is much different from how it really is. All it took was a little persuasion from a fellow Pagan and I was fine. Of course, it was a LESSER demon, but either way. No holy water, no prayer, no slapping me on the forehead, and it was all taken care of in a matter of minutes.
