I was E-mailed from a person who said the Cure was punk, and Korn and System of a Down were punk. So I said...

"Actually, the Cure has undergone multiple incarnations, the original being postpunk, and varying from gothy to poppy and encompassing many other genres, depending on album and song. Robert Smith, lead singer (and lynchpin) of the Cure actually claims the Cure is "A pop band," which I initially found surprising. (It isn't really, though, if you've studied their history.)
System of a Down and Korn are alternative/nu-metal, but you would be hard pressed to find anyone who would categorize them as goth, and it would be even more difficult to find someone willing to categorize them as punk.

In which direction do muslim astronauts have to pray when they are in space?

This is (even if it might sound weird) a very serious question.

I read an article about the fact that 150 Muslim-scientists are debating on how an astronaut should pray in space. The solution doesn't seem very easy.

I know Muslims have to pray 5 times between sunrise and sunset...if they are astronauts and circle the earth, they have 1 period between sunrise and sunset of 1,5 hours..that means they have to pray 5 times every 90 minutes. Furthermore, how do they locale Mekka 5 times during that time?

Any ideas?

Why do some blacks believe that white people are satan?

i was told that some blacks believe white people are the the devil because like when jesus was offer the world by satan they rationalized that how could satan have offered the world if he didn't hold power over it as white are suppose to hold the burden of power and wealth today. i also heard some s**t about yakub and his children, now where did that crap come from??

What do you think about parents who do drugs in front of their children?

Have you read Eziekal from the bible does it make you think that aliens are angels? Are they angels?

I read the story in the begginning of the chapetr of Eziekal and it said that he saw a angel that came out of a spining thing in the sky ? Back in the days theymost have named it an angel but now an days people might think it was an alien what he saw ! Which makes me pretty confused?

Why are people rude idiots these days?

I'm still a teenager , and I find it pathetic how I act more mature than most adults , For one I can spell correctly , And I basically know more information , Which is slightly humorous.

I'm assuming most people who ask/answer questions are adults , I highly doubt many teenagers other than me are on here.

Like If some one were going to ask a question , similar to this..

Details: I'm a woman , and i'm 5"3 and i weigh 188 pounds, And I never had a boyfriend , why??

is it possible to get a call from a number that just has 3 digits?

ok well it must be possible cuz i did lol but it was really weird...the phone number was just 973...nothing else...and i let it go to voicemail and it was someone speaking in spanish i believe. I don't know how thats possible to get a phone number with just 3 digits. I know 973 is an area code in NJ but this was the only number. Anyone have a clue? lol

I challenge you to present your proof that there is no God. Let's hear it. What reasonable and rational facts do you have that firmly establish that there is no God.

Don't try to tell me what you think, what your philosophy is, or what you believe. Give me just the facts please. Give me the cold, hard, proof.

And please don't use the worn out "If there's a God, why is there evil?" argument. Just give me the proof that there is no God.

International reply coupons - are they still in use by post offices?

I'm in the UK and am trying to work out how much postage to send to a friend in the states who will burn a dvd for me because I don't want them to pay for the cost of sending it to me.

In other words how much would a small jiffy envelope with one uncased dvd disc inside cost from the states to the UK? And are International Reply Coupons the best way to do this?
