I'm in the UK and am trying to work out how much postage to send to a friend in the states who will burn a dvd for me because I don't want them to pay for the cost of sending it to me.

In other words how much would a small jiffy envelope with one uncased dvd disc inside cost from the states to the UK? And are International Reply Coupons the best way to do this?

What's wrong with you? To find out if IRCs were still used, you just needed to visit the Royal Mail's website. As for how many IRCs you need, you can obtain that information from the same post office where you would buy them. Do you need any help with writing the address?

IRC's are still in use. The postage for your friend in the states to send the DVD to you will be $2.55 US. You could send them four IRC's but that will cost you way more than the actual postage. Why not send them something small that they would like from the UK as a way of saying thanks?
