only a few believe in all the possibilities but it seems that even if you leave out religion the majority have some improbable belief running the gauntlet from aliens to telekinesis

can racism really be fought by turning the other cheek ?

i personally don't believe so, Albinos in Australia are so racist, they are so good at taking pot shots at you , they never stop for a reply they just drive by really quick...i was just riding my bicycle minding my own business when a couple of Albinos drove by screaming at me. it's wasn't the first time, once i was driving with my white G/F when couple of Yobos told us to stick with our own kind.

May be the Albinos are really feeling the threat, if you look at the universities and the top job in the western world, are being taken over by Asians, it's inevitable, before long the west is going to loose all their skill and will totally be dependent on Asia, lets just hope the Albinos will still have some credit left on their cards

Not long ago Indians were second class citizens in their own land, however today the richest man in England is a guy called Laxmi Mittal, an Indian. Evidence of what was just talking about

In the book of Jeremiah, God specifically tells his people to avoid all aspects of Yule, the decorated tree is mentioned in detail, as it is pagan and thus evil. The majority of modern Christians profess to follow everything in the Bible as what they are to follow as well. So based on that, why do Christians have a Christmas tree if they know if it is pagan? Or do they even realize that is the case? Why if it was not acceptable back then is it perfectly fine today? God himself also said that he does not change ever so that would mean that either he wasn't telling the truth when he ordered his people to avoid those, or Christians have misinterpreted the Bible.

I'm independant. My parents never forced religion on me. I chose to be a Christian based on my understanding of reality and a bit of common sense. I weighed the options and Christianity won out everytime.

I did this along with a few other billion people. Do people really think this sort of "mass dillusion" is possible? Why do people hate what they just fundementally don't understand? Are they being bigots when they call Christians stupid or mentally ill?

Why is your free thinking better than my free thinking? Do you have to be an Atheist to be a free thinker? Do you have to deviate from the norm in order to be a free thinker? Under the free thinking as "a deviant from the norm" wouldn't that make Atheist in fact crazy?

who agrees with me that kids should ask how santa is and how are his reindeer and things instead of just asking for toys right away?

This year, I would like to make a difference. Frankly, I'm tired of waiting for the world to change and instead would like to be part of the change I wish to see. I would like to organize a toy drive for the children of local homeless shelters and families in need. Would anyone else like to participate in making a change? If so, email me and maybe we can collaborate on how to facilitate getting a toy drive started. Thank you for caring!

How can you possess something you have no control over? We stole land from Native Americans, from Mexicans. We buy meaningless crap when people are starving. How do you define theft?

Many people have their own opinion about life after death just as all mankind have noses. But what makes you so sure about where you would go after death? or (athiests) if their isn't an after life? What evidence do you have that what you believe is true? By Accepting Jesus Christ into our hearts as Lord and Savior we can be sure that we will have eternal life with Him in Heaven. Do you want that assurance?

I'm likeing the answers, so I want to know one last time, do you know people like this?
Once in school a girl told me; "Pokemon is satanic, because if you turn the P into a D and put it behind the K it says OK Demon!"
(Which technically makes Christmas satanic, cause Santa Clause is an anagram for SATAN Clause)
I grew up in a very conservative Protestant Christian community, and people believed all kinds of weird things like this, like that wearing black lipstick or nail varnish meant you're a devil worshipper.
Who else has experianced people like this and what is the weirdest thing you have heard them believe?

Yahoo Answers deleted an answer of mine with word T*ts in it, and also changed this question to **** from the common Anglo-Saxon referent to mammary glads, the spelling of teat, with an i substituting for the ea vowels.

Does this word upset you?

Why?

Many Jehovah’s Witness try to prove that the only people who will go to heaven will literally number 144,000 by quoting Prof. Thomas, The Master’s Seminary, US, and a Dr. Bullinger (who’s dead). The Prof. recently responded:

“Your JW friend has clearly taken what I wrote in my Revelation commentary out of its context. Yes, I do understand the 144,000 to be a literal number of witnesses during Daniel's future seventieth week, but they are witnesses on earth, not in heaven as he takes them to be. Nowhere do I endorse his heretical theory that they will "rule from heaven with Christ over a paradise earth." If he reads the whole commentary carefully, he will understand my position... Your friend is reading into my quotation a meaning that is unbiblical, one that arises from the heretical presuppositions of the JWs."

How can JWs quote the Prof's literal take on 144,000 without acknowledging he disagrees with every other aspect of the JW doctrine? Are they out to mislead?

Australia's top Muslim cleric says unveiled women are like 'uncovered meat' who attract sexual predators. "If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab (veil), no problem would have occurred." My question: why don't Muslims like this go live in Saudi Arabia or Iran? Why do they stay in the west?
