If that is your only problem you are among the most fortunate.... I will not bother to quote the Bible to you... some one else probably will.... I am going to tell you to get off your lazy *** and get out on your own and try taking care of yourself for a while... once you have been on the street for a time and had you *** reamed a few times you will go crawling back and beg to be alowed to clean your room...
When you have stood on the street on a freezing Christmas eve and looked at all the warm clothes in the store windows and felt the wind comeing through yours... when you have been so hungery when you spent that night in cardboard in an ally... then you can cry you phony tears and moan about how bad you have it... untill then shut the **** up... and thank your lucky star for all that you do have...

Do you want to live in a pig sty?
You want to live in the sewer, go right ahead, It's your life.
Would you like to kiss someone in the mouth who does not brush his or her teeth and got bad breathe? Or will you hug someone who doesn't take a bath and terribly smells? Is that the kind of life you like? Go ahead, it's your life. Your own germs and virus will kill you. And keep the Bible out of your shallow reasoning mind. You are just lazy and so arrogant. Other decent people like your parents who care about your well-being will shun you for being a slob or a wild pig wallowing in the mud with its own stinking manure.
Be thankful, you've got parents who take care of you, feed you and nurture you. It is better than being an orphan or being kicked out of your house.
Tell you what, if you can support yourself, just get out of your home and live the kind of life you want.
Go rock n' roll dude, set yourself free!

Your Mother is not using Christianity AGAINST you she's doing her best to Raise you and she's trying to INSTILL values in you that Will benefit you in your FUTURE. Values that will make YOU even PROUD of yourself.
No one but another SLOB will appreciate you later in life as you grow up through to your Adulthood and she wants better for you.
Cleaning your Room will make a healthy and comfortable environment for you to live and you'll feel better and it will compliment the rest of the house.
As Christians, I've heard the saying, "Cleanliness is next to Godliness", even as I was growing up.
We were taught and asked to clean up as if THE LORD was coming to Dinner and to imagine PHYSICALLY seeing him present, sitting at the table, and as with any company coming over you want the House spotless, and I mean every room.
Knowing that the LORD says he's always with us and will never leave us automatically gives you a desire in your heart to clean yourself and your home...and think about it...it's a true reflection of you.
Praise the LORD for having a Mother that CARES and LOVES you, and stop criticizing her for doing her job...and that's trying to RAISE YOU RIGHT and in a GODLY FASHION.

Uh, it says to listen to and respect your parents. And I know a good song that say you better take out the papers and the trash. Or you won't get some spending cash. If you don't scrub that kitchen floor. You aint gonna rock and roll no more!!!!
Get it? Go clean your room like a good boy.

The Bible says in Ex. 20:12:
Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
So I guess that means if your mom wants you to clean your room, you clean your room....and then you will be blessed with a long life for honoring her wishes...not a bad trade, actually!

hmmm, sounds like your mom doesn't know how to set some boundaries and rules without bringing christianity into it. seems to me it's a way to get out of parental responsibilties by using guilt tactics taken from the bible and interpretated for her own agenda. if you don't want to hear it, i suggest you just clean your room dude. lol.
and you're right, manson does rock!! but he cleans his room everyday. ;p

settle down there kid. the only rreason I am taking you seriously is because you like marylin manson. you have to clean your room because if you dont it will be messy. you are living in your parents house so it is their rules. yes the bible sucks but deal with it. ignore it. always question athority but love your mommy. do it for her. because she birthed you and deserves better. haha now I sound liek an old woman. fight the power and all that jazz. just ya if your really upset runaway. its more fun.

It says "children, obey your parents!" so clean your room, your attitude and study your spelling. By the way, take it from an old rock & roller, it doesn't set you free, nothing does but the truth.
