No need to get nasty with me and flame me, call me names and blah blah blah...I am asking this primarily about my kids and my situation. I have two mixed kids of my own, and nearly everywhere I go, someone annoys the life out of me going on and on about how beautiful their eyes are, or their hair is so "good", and how their skin is so exotic colored...etc, etc and then when people see me (black) and my husband (white) they always compare features and the compliments are always based on my kids being mixed, not their individual attributes as human beings. It makes me upset.

I see it happen with other mixed kids too. It's usually black people or persons of other cultures that tend to ramble on and on, but I've gotten this deal from some of everybody. Even the nurse that delivered my baby girl. What is the fascination? Yes, I agree my kids are beautiful, but they are not the avatar of Buddha or anything. What can I kindly say weird situations like these without sounding rude?

Do you ever feel like something is stopping you but you don't know what it is? Like everything else seems to be in place and you should just go for it, yet something is stopping you but you don't know what or why or how?

If so, what would you do if you were in that situation?

Many people are mad at me...what wimps. I mean, isnt this the type of forum where issues can be fleshed out without murder? You see, in the outside world, issues are fleshed-out...literally...with pounds and pounds of flesh and blood.

Muslims believe they have a religious mandate for murder. Thats CANT be denied. Thats a fact. Responding with "well xians do X" does NOTHING to resolve the issue.

So, whats wrong with examining the idealogical basis for this war and murder (Islam). Maybe after deep scrutiny, I eventually discover that Allah is real and he wants me to kill the hated hated kafir for him (cause hes to busy to)...or maybe, I find its just a bunch of pathetic cavespeak from pathetic ignorant little insecure men who need this type of gimmickery to cope with the Darwinian truth of this world.

I'm looking into the mythological aspects of modern religions. While I've found some information on Yahweh's suppose'd wife, Asherah, I haven't really found anything on Yahweh himself with the exception of claims that he was a sematic war god.

Alright I'm willing to admitt something as a Christian creationist. The argument that "if we evolved from monkeys why are there still monkeys?" is complete foolishness, borders hilarity, and represents a complete lack of understanding of the theory of evolution.
