I've been out for quite a while, and I'm accepted by all my family, friends and coworkers. I spent a quiet evening at home with my partner.

I came out as g0y to my office. It was not a big deal.
Most just liked the oportunity to have a party. Which my manager threw with a gay coworker.

Why does there have to be a stupid day for this? There are flyers all over my college campus talking about this stupid day and they're even bringing some gay wrestler to talk to the school, and they're having a drag show on campus to top it all off.
It disgusts me. There is no national straight day. Sexuality doesn't need to be a holiday. Keep it to yourselves jeeze.
