I rarely discuss my political affiliations, but I've always wondered if I was the only one, since all the christians I know are devout republicans.

This is for Republocr: How does it feel to have innocent blood on your hands? Can you wash it off, like Pilate did?

No, brother, you are not. I am a Christian and I voted against Bush both times.

yes

As for the tag question regarding innocent blood, I assume you are referring to the innocent blood that Bill Clinton shed when he bombed an Asprin Factory so that we would forget that he had been hitting up Monica for sexual favors in the bathroom of non other than the White House, while his wife was upstairs?

I am continually amazed at how quickly liberals forget what their leaders have done. Does Chappaquiddick ring a bell? Or 20% inflation? Or Viet Nam? How about Black Hawk Down? Or Barnie Frank? Probably not. Isn't a selective memory a wonderful thing?

I am a Christian and would rather not vote at all than to vote for George Bush. Being a devout republican doesn't mean you have to vote for the republican party candidate!

I am a Christian and I Did Not Vote For Him !! There were many people of the United States , that DID NOT VOTE , in the last election. But once he was elected, we need to stand up for our PRESIDENT of this GREAT COUNTRY. He needs all of our support . There are many things and events happening and I would not want to be in his shoes. Not all Christians are Republicans. But I do know that President Bush is a true Believer in God. He is a Christian. All American's need to be United and give him support in his job and protect it from all this nasty Propaganda. It is not all true.

I'm an atheist, but I'm in a Christian group in DC who agrees with most of my political views. They call themselves "Indies", as in independent Christian. I'm the token atheist in the group, and we used to have a regular game night on Fridays.

I doubt any of them voted for Bush. There are about a half dozen to a dozen people in the group.

I voted for Bush

and I'll be the first to tell he did make some bad choices

However, given that Kerry was for a lot of things I believe Christians should be against......i.e.
Gay marriage
abortion
aborted stem cell research
among other items.....

I still believe to be the best choice morally

No, you're not the only one. George Bush hid behind and used patriotism, motherhood, apple pie, the troops, religion and anything else that would get him elected. When push comes to shove he's a politician. As a Christian, I just couldn't accept this man for what he was trying to portray, a leader.

No, you're not. I am a Republican myself, but there are a lot of people I know at my school (a Christian U) who are Democrats. We even spent a class period discussing whether Jesus would be DEM or GOP.
It turned out he'd be neither.

Very sorry to hear that you made a mistake like that! It'll be OK, just vote Republican next time.
