...then why are there no Buddhist suicide bombers. Tibetan Buddhists have really been treated wrongly by China, and yet they are still peaceful. Why did the Hindus under the British Empire use peaceful methods to get the British out? The tennants of a religion determine how the followers react to problems.

Then who the hell would have created it??? And who is to say which religion is the right one???I personally think that religion is just a book to tell you whats right and whats wrong. Why would a higher being create us and watch us kill each other??? If god was real then why would he allow for such chaos??

PNB i.e.please no British-then we both no where we stand .If I would liike an American perspective then I wont put PNA and vice versa.I really think this could help us both.Your doing a good job in Iraq and we support you.I am interested in south american answers but if they get tedious I will precede questions withPNSAorA i.e.please no south americans or americans.Canadians are still welcome but preferably not french speaking ones at the moment because my wife has lent our french dictionary to a neighbour for an exam aweek on thursday.Thankyou

Why would Hispanic people worship at the feet of the Catholic church after the Catholics were so nice as to slaughter their ancestors and steal their land.The first generation I understand be catholic or be dead was the basic choice,but why keep worshiping with a church that let its people butcher your ancestors with no apology.

it's true, god wants us to give up anything in this world that is fun and lead a boring, tedious lifestyle. god says that we should love others as we love ourselves..well, i love myself just fine, but i think most other ppl suck! and what about giving up the pootie? get real! and god always wants us to do good deeds and help others..i ain't helping nobody do sh*t! what's up, why do i have to be miserable to gain eternal life?

What would you decide? ....unless he wanted me to do his will a bit longer, earth is not an easy planet to be on, especially knowing what Heaven kinda looks like.

I am a christian. Mainly raised Catholic...but I am open to other's opinions as long as they believe that Jesus is our Savior and God's son. I want to learn and the more I talk to others, it seems we are all bogged down by details when the main message in all our denominations is salvation through believing in Jesus Christ.

I work with a woman who is Jehovah Witness, and she seems to know a LOT about the Bible. She explains that she believes that only 144,000 will actually go to heaven but goes on to explain that the other believers will live an eternal life here on Earth and Earth will be made perfect and harmoneous.

When I asked people why they think Jehovah Witnesses are evil, they always mention the 144,000 thing. To me, that's just a detail. Personally, I don't care whether I'm in heaven or a perfect Earth as long as I'm allowed to live with God for eternity.

So, my question is why are they considered bad? Would really appreciate comments.

I think we are accually goin trick or treating on halloween but the weekend b4 or after I want to throw a little overnigth party just me and 2 of my closest friends maybe even just 1. Any ideas on what we can do besides watch movies and eat candy?
