This is the question of the ages. Throughout time we are faced with it. When the woman took expensive ointment and put it on Jesus feet Judas was taken aback and murmured under his breath that the money would have beeen better spent on the poor. Fact is no matter how much is collected and spent on the less fortunate, there still will be enough for teams like the Yankees and the Cardinals and the Pope's new Robes.

The same amount that could have been fed with the ointments Mary put on Jesus feet, as Judas pointed out in the Bible.

Did you know if we divested Bill Gates of his $40 billion dollar assets every man, woman and child on this Earth would get a one time grant of $6.60 cents. That's enough for a modest meal at McDonalds for each of us. One meal!

LEt's make something PERFECTLY clear, WORLD COMMUNISM means EVERY ONE OF US must learn to live on $3,000 a year in current US income.

That's what happens when you divide the net worth of the World and dispese it on everyone equallty.

You get free housing (where ever, no choice), you get to walk (no cars, these are delegated by the Proletariat on a "need" basis), you get health care where wever. YOu work in a job where you are needed and you get about $3,000 in "commie bucks" to spend a year on everything else.

That's $250 a month

That's $65 a week.

That is your allotment regarless if you are a brain surgeon or a ditch digger.

A brain surgeon might get access to a car. They may have a need for fast transportation.

A ditch digger may not.

How much of YOUR surplus income are you going to give to charity?

You going to forego having fun, new clothes, make-up, deoderant, cable TV and give what you don't need for food and meager clothes to the world food bank?

Also, they built a 25 million dollar creation museum in Kansas. It's a bunch of animatronic dinosaurs and humans living together in the garden of eden. Christians waste a LOT of money.

Exactly, they seem to live very lavish lifestyles, I bet that's what the donations are used for.

The pope is just a man, he is not closer to God then you or me.

2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Luke 10

25On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
26"What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"

27He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'[c]; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[d]"

28"You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."

29But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"

30In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. 35The next day he took out two silver coins[e] and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.'

36"Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?"

37The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him."
Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."

I think Jesus is showing here that he would agree with you....
